I've seen to advertised on the spotlight on Netflix and have heard it being talked about on the radio but I still haven't looked into it, I don't even know what it's about still lol

I'm watching it rn. I've been enjoying it mostly but I don't like the teen drama/romance subplots? Don't really understand why they're there. Like, all this crazy supernatural spooky shit is going on in their household but every 25 minutes the kids are like hold up gotta go get caught up in my love triangle... It just gets old really fast.

So I like the main plot but don't care about most of the subplots. And I find them switching between all that shit makes the show's pace really uneven? We'll be making so much progress so fast and then it just stops while Tyler goes to a house party.

BUT to whoever said it: it's spooky, not scary. Maybe it'll change in the last 3 episodes (I'm halfway through ep 8 rn) but so far I don't really understand why it's been labelled as a horror. It's supernatural and has the odd freaky scene but I have never been frightened in the least.

Okay so after all the hype I read about this here, I decided I would give it a go... Managed to watch 2 episodes tonight...I wanted to watch more but I feel if I stick on another one I'll fall asleep, so I'll continue on the 3rd one tomorrow night...

I have to say that I'm rather intrigued in the storyline and how things are going to pan out... Definitely liking it so far.. so thanks for the recommendation
