Exclamation Why you should always close your browser !

Why you should always close your browser.

Why you should always close your browser/tabs,
We all used a public computer/school computer before, Maybe for homework, sending a message, Who knows what else.
(Not really sure where to start) But always close your browser when you leave the thing alone for whatever reason.

One example of how people could get your info when browser hasn't been closed.
    Process Dump.

With an open browser someone could easily open task manager and make a process dump of whatever browser is running.
For this example i will be using my own account and this website. (Yes i changed my password before i made this post)

    Task manager :

I shouldnt even explain what task manager is i think

    The more details button.

Looking for browser in all running processes.

Expand the running process and make a file dump of everything in there.
Yes there's 29 of them in my case, only 7 tabs open, Chrome just loves using a lot of memory

it will save those process dumps in C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Local\Temp as Chrome.dmp, chrom(1).dmp and on, Depending on how many process dumps you make.
For my example i only made 12 of those files and found what i needed in chrome (3).dmp.

    Hex Editor.

So i opened the chrome (3).DMP in a hex Editor and looked for Login_password.
This is browser/website dependant but most store your info as login_username=(username)&login_password=(password ).
In this case it was stored differently.

    The website in hex editor.

    My username.

    My old password.

    Stuff in text.

    Conclusion

Always close your browser if you're not sure you're the only one who can access the computer,
    Or get 2 way authentication.
So always close your friging browser

Thank you for the advice! Rarely use public computers but if I ever do then I'll be sure to close the full browser.
