It definitely is part of life now and anyone who's read up on things knows this - we'll almost certainly need booster shots like we currently have for influenza to combat each year's biggest strains. That will likely be less mandated (like the current winter jabs) but that's not the point of this initial vaccination stage though, the point at this stage is to bring the rates down low enough so that from NEXT year on it's only those who are vulnerable or who opt for getting it that have a booster. Once the country is vaccinated properly it can no longer pass between people so well, and then it's manageable and restrictions can apply just to a select few while they await their next jab. The whooooole point of all this is to get us to a position where we are able to do what you're saying Dan.
We all want things to go back to normal, but the way to get that done is to do things properly right now - if everyone had locked down properly through the summer we wouldn't still be in this situation, and I for one would rather spend another couple of months behaving than have 2 more years of flipflopping on temporary measures.
