The new Telescope, which replaces the Hubble Space Telescope, has sent back incredibly detailed photographs

It has taken many beautiful images which you may have seen but this one for me is the most fascinating. Basically, imagine holding a grain of sand on the tip of your finger at arms length away from your face up to the night sky. The image you see of the Universe above is what is in that 1 sand grain space of the night sky. Truly mind-boggling - and each of those specks is a Galaxy, containing millions of stars and billions of planets. Amazing.

The size of the universe is totally incomprehensible. I'm really excited to see what comes out of the JWST in years to come. Just glad it had a successful deployment!

It is so frustrating that we're not yet advanced enough to explore space in any meaningful way outside of our immediate planets. There will be so much out there and it will be even bigger than the age of colonalism (1600s-1900s) and just think of what we found in that period. It must've been so exciting living in say the 1800s hearing of all these new fruits, animals and lands being discovered and I imagine it will be even more exciting for future generations when we start reaching other planets. Sadly I think our generation will miss the boat!
