this year so far has been okay, but doesnt beat the first few months of last year. there were about 10 albums from january to march alone that were no less than amazing. if this year's going to be good, it's going to be up to people i haven't heard, cause i dont know any bands i love that are coming out with new stuff.

oh, and i basically decided that "in the aeroplane over the sea" by neutral milk hotel is my favorite album ever. it will never get old. and i'll tear up every time i ever hear the end.

vampire weekend's album is brilliant! i thought they wouldn't deserve the hype, but i'm so glad i listened to them.

los campesions! album is patchy though (i think). "death to los campesinos!" and "you! me! dancing!" are both excellent, but the rest is nothing special.

yeah, i was skeptical of the hype as well but it turned out amazing. i love the majority of los campesinos' album. "you! me! dancing!" is actually one of my least favorite on the album. i think that it acts much catchier than it actually is, if that makes any sense. i think "we are all accelerated readers" is fantabulous, and is possibly tied with vampire weekends' "walcott" for my favorite track so far this year.
