I agree, at first he wasn't at first but now he's got to focused on money.

Others say rhymes which fail to be original
or they kill where the hip-hop starts
Forget about the ghetto, and rap for the pop charts

I think that best describes what he's doing.

I think for me, if your not including compilation albums, then probably Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg, its a classic

Yeah, theyre the inspiration for almost every rock band right now:p Its amazing because they were considered a 'nerd band' when they first started getting popular, and now some of the most famous bands grew up listening to them. Nerds seem to concur all dont they?

Im going to ask my dad for all of his R.E.M. albums, I dont know why, but recently I really started getting into R.E.M.. I saw them in concert a year and a half ago, I knew how big of a band they were, but I dont think I appreciated it enough...

Chronic Town's best track is Carnival of Sorts (Boxcars). Or is it 1,000,000? Or is it Wolves, Lower (the only R.E.M. track to have a font named after it)? Basically, get Chronic Town, listen to it, and as the DietCoke ad says "For those that love life"
Well it is for them peoples. Who have the '82 EP. Movin' on... (Track 13 of blur - go reference!)

My favourite single (goin' off topic ahh whatever) is blur's Beetlebum. 3 of the B-Sides are amazing. Dancehall, available on the US version of blur, has a really eerie sounding chorus. All Your Life should have been included on the album - gives it that extra oomph - and Woodpiegon Song - 100 seconds of darkness.
Oh, and Get Out of Cities is really energetic too (available on the Song 2 b-side).

And now my favourite album is Monster - *69 (Star 69) is, as I call it, "187 seconds of madness". So frickin' powerful. Crush With Eyeliner is What's The Frequency, Kenneth?'s twin. King of Comedy is computerised in a way (with the weirdest R.E.M. lyric ever: "I'm straight, I'm queer, I'm bi")

P.S. Notice how weird the link is: Both bands started off with 4 members (R.E.M.'s were Michael Stipe, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Bill Berry, blur's were Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree), then one left from each band (Mono-brow Berry from R.E.M., glasses-boy Coxon from blur), but they still continued as a 3-some (Dirty reference).

Wait, why'd I go on about that?

Green Day - International Superhits
Arctic Monkeys - Everything you say I am that is what I'm not.

Actually, it's Whatever People Say I Am, Thats What I Am Not. Im not really a big fan, but I know.

Anyway, I love the 90's. In general, its a very underrated decade, I don't think anyone really got the music from it until we were into the 00's. My favorite albums of the 90's are:

1. Dookie by Green Day
2. OK Computer by Radiohead
3. The Colour And The Shape by Foo Fighters
4. Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
5. The Battle Of Los Angeles by Rage Against The Machine
6. The Bends by Radiohead

For some reason I like OKC more, but The Bends seems more like my style. I almost feel bad for not liking The Bends more. I dont know, even though OK Computer is so weird I love it. Probably my 2nd favorite album ever, right under Dookie. (Thats a weird combo of favorites).

It isnt as weird as some of their other stuff though. Kid A is just crazy. But some new stuff sounds quite like their old stuff. I could imaging the song 'There There' fitting in on The Bends.

And the albums

The Shins- Oh, Inverted World
The Shins- Chutes Too Narrow

are working their way up on my favorites.

Electioneering. The song that doesnt really fit on OKC.
It's always reminded me of R.E.M.

And as for the cover, it has bad sound quality so Im judging it by that, Id need to hear it well. But it just doesnt sound good when they do it.

Travis Barker used to be in the band too. Way back when they were a bit different and had different costumes. He was known as Baron von Tito:

I actually liked Jesus of Suburbia at first, then it went bleh. I might get the album as well, but Im not going to like any of the popular songs.

That's a concept album (an album that is set up as a story or based on a central theme) as well, which I think is pretty cool, not many people are doing that these days. The album tells the story of a young suburban man (the "Jesus of Suburbia") who leaves his hometown, creates himself a new identity (St. Jimmy) supposed to be "rebellious" (self-destructive), meets a girl (Whatsername), falls in love, dates her, receives a break-up letter (Letterbomb) that opens his eyes, socially kills St. Jimmy, realizes that the world is not as it was portrayed to be, and returns emotionally more mature.

Yeah those sort of albums are prettyt creative and always have a good mix of songs. I know Angels and Airwaves' album had a 'story' to it aswell but I like the American Idiot concept, and the Jesus of Surburbia video just tops it off in the last 1/3 of the video, pure brilliance if you ask me. No matter how much people say 'Eurgh I hate new Green Day' I don't know what they're getting at, they like mainstream bands and copy alot of people's tastes I'm sure, Green Day did a good job on the American Idiot album as with pretty much all their albums.

You need 4 CD players to listen to it properly, and probably someone to help synchronise all the CDs, but it's well worth it! This album is amazing! Sounds coming from every direction, and interesting effects when it gets out of synch. You can experiment using different combinations of CDs, and putting CD players in different rooms, and stuff. Every time you listen to it, it's different!

It came out almost a decade ago, but it's still original, and there are no other albums like it!

I made a list on my myspace of them. Its pretty cool, I put on the album covers, and when you scroll over them, it tells you the album name and artist.

Anyway, they're (no order):

Dookie by Green Day
OK Computer by Radiohead
Chutes Too Narrow by The Shins
The Colour And The Shape By Foo Fighters
A Rush Of Blood To The Head by Coldplay
Good News For People Who Love Bad News by Modest Mouse
Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
In Utero by Nirvana
Lullabies To Paralyze by Queens Of The Stone Age
Document by R.E.M.
The Battle Of Los Angeles by Rage Against The Machine
United by Fate by Rival Schools
Sunny Day Real Estate (The Pink Album) by Sunny Day Real Estate
The Body, The Blood, The Machine by The Thermals
Audioslave by Audioslave
Elephant by The White Stripes
