Sauna's can make spots worse and all y'know because they can open up your pores which can let more dirt in aswell as out which can clog tshem more and plus a Sauna is a stupid idea , its not likely hes going to have one at his home.

You shouldn't use clearasil on your stomach, its for faces only I would imagine.

Erm, the best thing to do is keep your skin clean, hydrated, and airy. Try to walk around with your shirt off as often as possible to keep the air flowing across your stomach, and rub all spotty areas when you shower thouroughly.

Apparently cabbage water also helps with spots but I would reccomend you try the above first :).

The only problem is I can only stay in for like 3 mins as..
a. I get bored sitting down
b. I dont like hot

Also I know clearsil isnt for your body but I also use it on my face..

Well, take something into a Sauna to do..

But avoid taking electronic stuff in there, because mobile phones e.t.c don't like being exposed to heat.. As I found out! :(

If they are really bad then go to a doctor's and they can prescribe something to help prevent them and get rid of them.
Wash regulary as otherwise the pores get dirty and then spots build up.
One of the girls i know who has quite a lot of spots went to the doctors and he told her to go on the pill to get rid of spots and she did and its worked.

You can use the clearisil stuff on your back, stomach etc... you can use the stuff most places

I used to get them really bad. Most of mine were due to me growing up, now I'm older I don't really have any, just a few on my face and a few on my chest and back. I found that using a sponge with shower gel and scrubbing it on t e areas with spots helps, its rough so it takes off the heads and dry skin and it also cleans it. I did have creams and antibiotics from the doctor but they did nothing and they were getting annoying to use everyday.

The sauna thing, I have one. Well actually my shower has a built in steam thing, can be classed as a sauna. Although it wouldn't help my spots since mine get worse in heat.

Some people know nothing , its been proven that hygiene doesn't affect your spots and excessive washing can actually make them worse.

actually eamonn spots are caused by oily skin clogging up pores. [sp?] if you moisturise and wash with clean water you shouldn't get loads of spots..

Umm no spots are caused by your sebaceous glands when they are overactive they produce too many hormomes which allow your hair follicles to become clogged. So therfore spots can't be stopped with just water.

Causing your skin to become oiling clogging up your pores and creating spots "/ moisturing and washing with fresh water helps avoid spots..

Umm no because too much washing and scrubbing can make spots worse because washing away surface oils does next to nothink to prevent or cure acne, because it forms under the skin.

Lol listen.. if your face is oily and you moisturise it, it prevents you from getting as many / all spots.

Yea but I meant just washing it not moisturising.

If you don't have a sauna use a kettle just boil it and put your face (or whatever) over the steam, careful though because it does get hot, but if you stop for a few days they come back.

What are you all on about? Using heat or steam to open poures does not get rid of spots..

Don't use Clearsil, all it will do is agrivate your spots and make them worse. You would be better to use a more gentle cleanser..

The best advice as some people said is if you have tried everything (like I did) go to the doctors. They may give you a cream of some sort, Diprobase for example which I got. It can work sometimes depending on what skin you have. Hope it clears up soon :(
