When habbox give out job's I basically see all the same people getting the jobs. Me and many other people probabally think we are very good at a certain job but we dont get a job and I think it's unfair... Hopefully this is the correct place as this is my comment and I hope other people think so to.

Probably because they submit the best applications which is shown by the ammount of jobs they uphold.

But I find I put in alot of decent applications and I never get a feedback or trial. How do they know im not good for the job?

Perhaps other people have more experience?

well they can only judge it from the application and you may have submit an outstanding application but your record on here might not be great, or there could be others that submitted better and took the vacancy. I agree with you as I think there is a limit of how many jobs a user can which they will keep up constantly without stressing.

Maybe a bit aimed at me, as I got 1 job and a trial today, within what, 2 hours... But yeah, its what Brandon said. I got my Show Staff job for my application, and my Room Reviewer trial, I was notified via PM from Neversoft. I got that for posting alot in the 'Cool Rooms' section and giving good comments and feedback. I supposed you just gotta keep trying :)

Adding to what I said, maybe you're not active enough?

If someone's a good worker, and leaves, then returns in a few months time, the staff are bound to take him on because of the work he did.
I cant really speak for all managers as I havent really been one for about a good 7 months now.
Generally speaking when I was looking at an application if it was just plainly rubbish with loads of spelling or gramatical errors I used to just reject the application.
Certain people I had offered trials as they had submited a good application and had a decent forum record not to mention they were very active on the site.
Others I had offered jobs as not only their application is good but their team skills and quality of work / effort seemed very high in the other jobs they had at Habbox which always reflects very well with an application.
I am sure that Habbox Managers do not intend to offer all the job positions to current staff members and I appologies if you feel that we are biased in the way we select our staff members.
But you need a really stonkin application for some jobs and others just get such an over whelming response such as news reporters that it can just be rotten luck if you dont get a trial also for this reason the manager may not choose to reply to the application.

No, because they are friends with the admins.
I think the job process is pretty bad because 11 year olds are getting moderator jobs and some moderators "EM" are just plain horrible.

Ah, Brandon. Depends on the area of work. ;) Not all areas have an admin manager.
I think it's well, as Jin said. If you give it your best shot, with perfect grammar and spelling. It always boosts your chances.
Instead of just giving the details on the application form, why not add some extra points? ;)

I will never actually understand where your "intelligence" on the way Habbox runs comes from but wherever it does I suggest you review it as you always make yourself look like an 11 year old child everytime you make some negative comment on the site.
I think its fairly harsh that you actually generalised all the admins with your statement especially when most of us have absolutely no control over who is selected for a moderator trial.
Anyway as smiddy said some extra points do actually help with your application, it may not be asked for but whatever you think is relevant may help you with your application such as, if it hasnt been asked for, previous experience, hobbies etc

Not really? I only knew one Events Organizer who I hired and that was Laxativepolo who used to be on the team :S
Also, same people over and over? Yeah because once you're staff you show you're capable but plenty of people who aren't staff can be hired? IE: Half the EO's and some of the newer trialists. I'm speaking mostly for myself as I can't give a discourse on the procedures of other managers, but if I do mass hirings I don't really look at the person but at the app. If the app is like this:
I'd rlly lke to b a part of the depatrmnt bcos id be relli good at it.
I wouldn't pick it, I really wouldn't even read it. I pick it based on how they lay it out, how genuine it seems, and on the content of their application. So yeah, no I don't think its biased.

I know they are all doing good jobs ect... But I'v never seemed to be chosen and I have been with habbox for over 1 and 1/2 years. And they may have even looked at my record for ban and they will see a perm one due to they stupidily banned me for : Posting links to scamming/scripting sites which I didn't do. Does that show up on my record?

Erm just because you haven't been chosen doesn't mean its the same people. Yes bans show up on records but if its a perm how are you on the forum? Anyway you also need to make people have respect for ou and show that you respect and can work well with peers. Judging by your signature, you show great respect for the hard work of others ;)

Well, from what I have seen, a lot of the new moderators baving picked were not staff.

I've been rejected for tons of jobs, I got my Habbox Live trial on my third time round of applying. My HxHD took me two attempts to get a trial and the events one I got straight away.
But some jobs I've still had no reply from, your not the only one. Just keep sticking it out.
People aren't hired just because they're capable of doing the job, but other things such as behaviour and how often they visit the forum are taken into consideration (and current members of staff are most likely to be active and well behaved).
tbh imo no m8

And if its the same people it is because habbox knows they are good at jobs instead of risking a job on someone who might not be good at a job.,

Its actually not hard to get a job. If you help out ect and behave. I was kinda offered my current job for helping out at some of the events. If you don't get accepted when you apply, then help out and you could end up with a job you helped out with. :) The managaers are not biased. They just accept the best applications ect depending on the job. :)

Ok right. Until my hiring as a Super Moderator, I was a nobody on the forum. When I was hired as a Forum Moderator, I was a nobody. Even as I got others, I was still in the background. I was even less than you guys but by some miracle I kept going up. The management do notice people and there isn't favoritism, none of the admins knew me until Baving and even then, barely so. Until I was a SMod I had barely any contact with any admins (well there was Jin but he was Admin on and off and just a techie). So no, you don't have to stand out all that much ;)
Rofl sorry for boring you with my life story :eusa_ange
