Well,

My girl friend cheated on me with some other guy... But I really LOVED her a lot... Her parents abuse her so she is confused in her life... She dumped the person she cheated on with me... Yesterday, I did something I shouldnt have.. I hit her.. I know it sounds harsh but she was saying stupid things...

What can I do to get her back?

Well, thats bad, you gotta do somthing REALLY REALLY special to get her back, shes probably scared of you and lost trust in you so you have to proove you wont do it again, and how much she means to you.

Well really, it depends how hard you hit her?

some guys just sorta hit with no real force, others properly smack you which can leave bruses or other injuries.

if you didnt put force in it, i would think she was just offended and upset that you would lift your hands to a girl and i think you should jsut go and apologise, maybe buy her a teddy or something? and talk to her and tell her how you feel.

if you did put force in that smack however, i beleive it will take ALOT to egain her trust and most proberbly she will be scared of you. i think it will take more then a quick chat n question to get her back.

Guys shouldn't hit girls no matter what they do.

I think you've lost her.. But DON'T keep sending her texts or anything like that, if you want a chance to make it up to her. Let her cool down or what ever before you even try to talk to her. Give it a few days or so, then try and apologise, maybe even buy her flowers or something to show you are truely sorry, and NEVER try hitting her again, and she may trust you again.

But then again, she cheated on you, so is she worth it:s

The fact you hit her makes you unfit to be with her. It is something I feel strongly about and it is sickening to be honest... You really ruined that relationship and most likely any chance of getting back with her by doing that.

You disgust me and I see no real remorse in your words you even try and defend your actions by saying 'she was saying stupid things' You don't desearve her. My advice to you is that you steer clear of her for her sake.

That is someone who knows what they are talking about! I don't know why you are asking for advice, doing something like that makes it impossible to get her back, as well as incensing a good few people on the Forum...

What she did is wrong. Im not condoneing cheating.
But what you did was a hell of alot worse. She's being abused by her parents, and you go and hit her. You've lot her trust and respect now. I suggest letting her go.

I was trying to get something off my friend, who is on eof my ex's and i fell over and hit her in the chest {no, not the breasts}. Still, hitting her cos she cheated on you? you loser.

Hitting a girl isnt right, never. Whether your angry, drunk, depressed... never, and theres no excuse for it.

Now she cheated on you, and your aware. You gotta ask yourself kid.

do you think you two will work again?
can you trust her?
and do you think you can forgive her?

If you said yes, then go for it. Its not over despite the reactions of these people, if you love her like you say you do you wont give up. Love is a powerful word, its a world of a difference between fancy/like and love.

And if the only thing you thought of this whole time when reading this post was her, then I wouldnt doubt going for her.
