Ok. Guys we take security as a HUGE issue obviously.

What im thinking is... Because the free version wont be a full massive script like vbulletin...

To make it safer we would need to encrypt it. However we have promised you an open source script, meaing you can view the code.....

Please post to say wether you'd prefer for your free version either:

- Encrypted and safer
OR
- Unencrypted and a bit unstable

What im saying is, theres extremely good hackers. They MAY find a way round it. So by having i encrpyted they can't look at the code and find ANY weaknesses.

Well we will probably think of something. We have people who know about brute forcing etc.

And we will also work with "White hackers" (Helpful hackers who find problems) to improve our safety.

We have template control with pro.

Dave has done got the kick dj script. Its like 5 lines for the kick dj script ;P

In pro we'll give an option to backup every 5 days/1 day/ week or w/e

It will have a facility to make a SQL backup. Howver in order for it to be scheduled you would have to install it as a cron job. We can do this via PHP if you are running cPanel, in order to do so, you would have to enter in your cPanel details into the script. Which some people may feel is insecure. Thea facility will be there, but you will have the set it up manually, guides will be provided on how to do so.

So the staff can see the stats of other radio stations to see how they're doing compared to them.

Admins should be able to add and edit the stations connection details that they want to spy on.

On your DJ Profiles page, you should require them to enter their MSN address & Skype name. Their MSN & Skype shouldn't show up on the staff list on the site, instead it should appear on a 'DJ Contact Info' page that only staff can see via the DJ Panel. This comes in VERY handy when trying to get in touch with the next DJ after you so you can make the smooth changeover ;)

Like, there is a thing where if your connected then you have hte ability to send a nudge/alert to another DJ on the radio panel?

So, instead of using chatrooms etc, you can alert/nudge them. :)

Posting the PHP during the development stages would help, since people can point out security issues you may have overlooked.

Administration Features:
- Ability to change radio details, which then changes the config files for the radio stats. Meaning you don't have to access cPanel to get new radio stats working.
- Suspend Panel - If you're being hacked, or some other reason, you can login and suspend the panel, this requires a seperate password. Then, no one can access the panel apart from one id, the main administrators id.
- Ability to disable radio and Stats - Again, if the site is being hacked or for another reason you can login and disable the radio + stats. The radio will disappear from the site and the stats just say "We will return shortly!"

General Features:
- Different account levels - Trialist DJ, DJ, Senior DJ, Radio Management, Administrator. All have access to different things.

Anyway, Atomic Panel was put on hold due to real life issues etc. And now we are back to business...
