cramps in my legs...

I keep waking up late at night for no reason. I lay there and suddenly get a really bad cramp in the back of my leg it feels kind of like someoness stuck a knife in there and is twisting it round anyone know whats causing it and how to stop it ? because it makes my leg hurt for the whole next day =l

I get that sometimes :(. It really hurts. I just have to jump out of bed. I don't know any ways of stopping it, sorry :(.

I think it may be growing pains. I used to get those when i was bout 13/14 a lot. Not so much now but yeah. Does hurt.

i got that all the time last year when i was camping for 2 weeks
i woke up in the middle of the night with shooting pains in my leg and it really hurt. cos i only got it when i was camping i put it down to damp, cold or alot of walking.

is your bedroom damp, cold or do you do alot of walking? i dunno if there is any link but thats the only time i suffer with it when i go camping.

There is like a massive hill I have to walk up to college lol I don't think its down to the cold because it was happening when I was on holiday to Spain aswell I remember it because I was in a hotel room with my Dad and jumped out of bed and started hopping around the room swearing my dad thought I was being murdered or something :p =l

I know just the thing, I used to get those and I used a cold cream, like after-sun or something, it works :) It also worked for me when I had those in my neck too.

try using volteral which is a pain relief cream, when i hurt my foot it worked for me :)
