If we're being realistic, some members of staff have too much power, one of these I feel is actually MAD.

To get the best out of a senior member of staff, they need to concentrate on 1 area, I think MAD was best off just concentrating on being a Forum Manager, instead of taking on an AGM job as well.

Now, I know you're going to say "Well others have done it too", but I don't think any of the others have as much complexity to them as the forum AND another job on top of that (and possibly others).

This is a step MAD has taken, but we should respect this. If he wants to try and replace them, and it fails, who is it that ends up with egg on there face? Catzsy? No.. it's MAD. If it's a good step, then who will get the acknowledgement, the person who replaces them, not MAD.

Joshuar is an amazing person, he helped me so much when I was Articles Manager. Then he resigned, so I needed a little help. I asked for one of the articles staff to be assistant manager, they wernt allowed. So I was doing it all by myself. I never got any help at all running that department after joshuar went. I know habbox management get alot of work and everything... but they need to concentrate on helping other people aswell. It is their 'job'...

Habbox should really get their act together. Firing somebody for expressing their opinions in a, from what I've heard, a non-rude way. The management should listen to their staff, take the criticism and use it to improve the management styles or what every needs to be changed. Habbox is run by the staff and if the staff aren't happy then Habbox will be digging their own grave.

Catzsy was a great Super Moderator and didn't deserve to be fired. She is helpful and kind and I can't imagine her expressing her opinions in such a blatent way to get herself fired. I have nothing against MAD nor did I have a problem with his management skills when I was a Super Moderator. I don't have the full story, so I apologise for anything that may be incorrect in this post.

This thread will not be deleted; however, do not listen to rumours. When a person gets fired it's not because they've expressed their opinions - it's usually because they're inactive or have chosen to express their opinions in a way that breaks the rules.

When I was fired I did not break a single rule but because I disagreed with 8freak8 I was outta there right away. It's a fact that if you disagreed with him he would flex his muscles and get rid of you.

It's a bloody joke that Catzsy was fired. She was definitely the strongest link in the whole super moderation team. Surely that fact would merit some kind of leniency to keep her.

I've never thought bad about ---Mad--- but after this utterly weak decision I am beginning too.

Habbox needs a completely new set of upper management, Nvrspk4 and Garion to name a few who are capable. I've never had a problem with Sierk, in fact I've always found him to be quite decent.

Most won't know the reason that all of this happened and quite frankly in my opinion, it was all blown way out of proportion. When people are fired, they always take it too far. I certainly did when I was first fired, but I guess that when you are sacked for the first time you really do become so immature excluding such a few. Moderators felt the same as Catzsy but really, why was she fired and not the rest of the '11'? You know, it really is a good game of Chinese Whispers...

Yea they did feel the same as me but 2 who didnt join were too scared to lose their jobs,didnt Support MAD either, but usually dont say anything but 'YES SIR' in a loud voice. One of them informed Mad and Sierk so be careful all those who are left. I assume he will get AFM for that.
How do I know that? MAD told me on MSN whilst giving me a complimentary goodbye speech:rolleyes: J1mi is a notable exception to this and is a very honourable person. I was fired because the one of the people concerned has just been waiting for the opportunity to do for a very long time and I gave him that opportunity. End of story. Dont regret it. The only thing I regret is that 2 other goods mods were fired for no reason. Good luck in you Habbox Career. I was hoping that it would come to this, however my time at Habbox has come to a close. Many of you will be aware of the recent events in the Moderators Only Forum, where ten Moderators and both assistant Forum Managers signed a petition which aimed to gain reforms within the Moderation department because of the Forum Manager who, we felt, was not doing his job very well. None of us intended to be rude in the posting of this thread, our aim was ultimately to improve the Forum however it seems that once again we have been dismissed with action that in my opinion is not adequate.
MAD is generally a very nice individual, someone who I respect in fact - his technical skills are amazing. Nevertheless I still feel that I cannot continue working underneath him, or in fact, on the Forum at all as two individuals I hold in very high esteem have been fired or have resigned. A long with my resignation, I would like to call that MAD resign as Forum Manager as many people - Moderators, Super Moderators and indeed, Administrators are not often unhappy with his behaviour. I personally believe that MAD should stay as AGM, and focus on the technical side of things which he excels at. I do not mean to be rude in saying this, neither do I expect anything to come of it. However, if MAD has Habbox Forum's best interests at heart then he won't remain as Forum Manager for much longer.
So now back to my resignation, the combined pressure of my GCSEs and my increasing loss of faith with everything in general when it comes to the Forum has brought about my resignation. My time at Habbox has really been amazing and I don't regret one second of it, I would like to wish you all the best of luck with whatever you pursue in real life and for the rest of your time at Habbox.

I will still be on the Forum now and again though.

I think the moderators/super moderators etc that are wanting to start a new forum and get it a bit of advertisement should paste it everywhere in announcements etc and make it a global announcement lol. Not suggesting it just an idea
