There certainly has been a debate and I am very sad to leave(court martialled) because I have been here a long time and got to know many, many of you as people and not just members and have really enjoyed my time on the forum with you all and not just those with clean sheets either. Some of the naughtiest were the funniest and sometimes most intelligent who knew they were going to get an infraction but knew it came with the territory - I can think of a few in particular but cant name cos I would be breaking the rules. You know who you are though.

I would also like to pay a tribute to somebody else that was not treated very well and who resigned because of it. Mr.Sam (Foxmoth) was the ultimate Mod and who worked so very hard but was always member friendly and very fair to everyone. I had a hard time trying to deal with the fact he didnt get SMod although he had done the job before really well. Nobody deserved it more on merit. But it seems the decision not to was personal. I think when he resigned I know I and perhaps all of us started on the road that ended yesterday.

This has gotten bad, I mean everyone is getting treated bad.

Some of us on here really need to start a new forum, with the old mods/supers that god fired as the management, the nice ones who know how to manage things.

When you have petty jobs the problems with the upper management don't effect you much and you don't experience it as if you refuse something you're usually refusing your department manager but if you disagree with or refuse something higher management want then it's a totally different ball game.

There have been a lot of good people join the moderation system who end up getting used and dumped in a really disappointing way, you better have more coming.

Well apart from participating in the thread which was not started by me I did
move a thread back from where the FM had put it for whatever reason he felt the need to do that. This was because staff were messaging me to ask where it was because they wanted to post in it. Other staff and managers have made worse mistakes than this and not even received a warning. I also had a clean sheet before this episode.

I have heard that he may have made other allegations against me but I don't

Apart from moving a thread back into the mod forum I have never broken any other rule whether it is in the staff forum or in the main forum apart from a warning for a double posting when I first arrived as a member. So it looks like breaking that one rule and expressing an opinion along with 85&#37; of the Moderation staff was enough to get me the sack.

I am happy for the reasons to be disclosed on the forum if somebody wants to.

Usually, when people believe that the management is not doing their job right, it leads to a Vote of No Confidence - I suspect this would be done behind closed doors, in the Staff Forums.

There was a petiton/statement signed by 11 of the Mod/AFM staff posted 'behind closed doors'. There was no intention to embarass or insult just to seek some consideration of our views. In fact it was watered down from an intention to strike at my suggestion because of the negative effect it would have on the forum.

There really was not any need for this. The mod/AFMs staff made a thread in a closed forum. He could have read it, reflected on it , consulted other managers about it and had a meeting. Instead he reacted instantly by firing 2 moderators and removing my permissions. ---MAD--- doesn't like me but thats okay with me. The fact is this may well be true, however people lose faith in Management and therefore they cannot believe it. Personal things always get in the way of promotions and I suffered first hand from this. I understand that I was not promoted to Super Moderator for a while because certain Administrators disliked me, this was twinned with the fact you suspected me of leaking information however the fact is personal things did get in the way and that makes it seem more likely (to me) that people's decisions are affected by personal opinion.

Sure I don't particularly like the way the staff have been treated but to spam most of this thread(which it has, gone off topic many times) is just making yourselves look immature. If you have something against a member of staff then atleast stand by your word and don't suddenly edit it(like the fool PenguinLoser) because you want to keep your job. I personally don't see how Dom? can get fired for his posts yet PenguinFluid has mocked ---MAD--- to a pretty big extent and still retain his job. I am not being negative, I am merely being realistic. Hell nothing will come of this. We aren't shareholders in some huge corporation and this isn't an AGM meeting. The "little" guys don't get a say in what goes on, so therefore no action will come of this.

Mad is pretty much top of the chain, he has authority over 99% of the users but obviously not over the owner.

The same happened to them when DJ-3000 was here and a fair few people "boycotted" Habbox. Well that failed because most of them re-joined or never properly left. Habbox will merely brush this under the carpet and given time this will all be forgotten. It doesn't really matter to Habbox, they may have lost some great members of staff but hell, there'll be plenty of people wanting to apply and thus current great staff will get promoted.

off-topic this thread has had way more views than the infraction complaint thread which has been there over 12 months.

Today ---Mad-- has said 2 things.

1) That I have made up things. The first post made me virtually out to be a liar (which I think is against the rules) Presumably to cause trouble as he sees it

2) That were other reasons for me being fired than I have said.

This has damaged my reputation on this forum as a lot of people will think there is 'no smoke without fire'.

So could you please sunstantiate these allegations please or can I have an apology.

I think catzsy and garion and dan was perhaps the nicest people on here. But at the end of the day its management choice and there right. I stay loyal after I have viewed everything. and evidecne points that mad made the ritght decision. If you were fired you would make things up I am sure for sympathy and out of pure h8 for the person who fired you

Don't sit one day taking sides and discussing how corrupt MAD and Habbox is, then the next day when MAD is online you're all for peace and leaving him alone.

It's pretty clear the spineless people who are simply trying to befriend high-powered figures to try and 'get somewhere' on an online forum. If your going to take one stance one day, don't try and turn it round the next and suck up to someone just because they come online.

Well I thought this was over :O but Smiddy, I cannot have my reputation
damaged in this way. the fact of the matter is he can't make a full confession because there is nothing else to say.

I moved a thread back into the mod forum that he moved out and yes did participate in a thread backed by 11 out of 14 of the Mod/Afm staff asking him to be a bit more receptive to us staff and treat us with more consideration. Thats it. We did not call for him to be removed from the position just let us have a bit more positive management and motivation from him.

He has then alleged basically, in this thread, that as he put it 'I made things up all the time' and he didn't like it which has been seen by quite a few as a veiled way of saying I am a liar. He also suggested that there were other reasons for sacking. I refute all this completely.

He gave :Hazel the opportunity earlier in the thread to disclose the reasons for her dismissal. He has not afforded that opportunity to me but I have given him full permission to do so. I have absolutely nothing at all to hide

The only person who can act against these acts is Sierk, and I imagine by now he bypasses this thread as it is probably boring him.

The only people who will change Sierk's mind is 8Freak8, Nvrspk or Seacat. And quite frankly I beleive if this was going to happen, it would have happened by now.

Unfortunately the world is full of injustice, so why should it be different on an online forum?

At the end of the day the only thing that will suffer from the loss of good moderators is the forum itself, as it may lose visitors as people will become unhappy, this means less money for Habbox, but I doubt it would be that much.

So i'm afraid to say it, I think this is over and only the 'people high up' can continue to fight the battle if they choose.
