K, well I refuse to see how this is fair. For non vip's, the signature height still remains as 150px. Yet if you're a vip, you are granted 300px. Also, there was no point in introducing the "new feature" that came with the new ranking system, as there has been no change whatsoever when it comes to the height of signatures until you reach platinum rank, pointless.

Why should people who use the forum bother paying atleast £1.50, just to get double the height in signature? It's unfair, seeing as a 300 height signature is an eye-sore, and unnecessary. There should be a fixed height on both parties, non-vip & vip members or atleast raise non-vip's height to 215px, the members of VIP still get 85 more px to spare. Besides, the 300px system is abused by numerous people making plain signatures, with "700px width, 300px height" blatently on the basis to annoy people.

Back to one of my other points, why should people have to pay money to get a minute leverage in something that you can get for free on numerous other forums? It's hardly an advantage, and if you consider it to be logical than you have serious problems. Non-VIP members shouldn't have to post atleast 4000 posts, just to get the extra space - non-vip's should have a reasonable space to put their work in, seeing as alot of the non-vip's are far more capable of producing work worth looking at. Some people could produce better things (non-vip's) with a canvas of 700x215, and it's hardly asking much - when VIP's are allowed a canvas of such a bigger size.

It's unreasonable for those who take their time to post, rather than purchasing a minute feature which seems to be apart of the "vip package". I think you should sort it out, as it's clearly unfair.

I completely agree with this - 150xp in height is practically nothing. I feel that Habbox is just a money-hoarding organisation and we basically have to pay for everything, which is unfair.

You appear to be rather disillusioned regarding how many extra feature VIPs actually get, its not just an extra signature size

I strongly suggest you research an aspect of the Forum before even beginning to complain about it.

He isn't complaing about the lack of VIP features, he's complaing about the signature sizes that VIP's get.

I know that, initially it appears as though the user is unaware of other VIP features, better to cover the basic bases before trying to cover a more advanced query.

I myself think 300px is too big, even for VIPs. A signature is a place for put a few words/sentences so not much space is needed. I even disable looking at signatures because of how big they make the scroll as it is already so I don't see it changing. Signature is definitely not a place to show all your art etc. That is what threads are for :).

Without VIP money, we would not be able to afford a good server to keep up with demand. We do not force you to pay for anything.

Imo signatures are supposed to be small little things you have under your psot to let people know its you , the traditional signature images are rectangular and aren't that big , if sigs were that big they'd stretch the page and would look a little weird?

Disillusioned? I think not. I have a right to complain about anything I please, especially as somebody who has payed out rather a large amount of money towards VIP in the past. As a VIP, I know that you get only a few USEFUL features, otherwise you're classed as favoured or just plain important. I did my research, and I picked things out that weren't necessary, there are features there that are no use to people. So please, don't try and make me refrain from voicing my opinion, and most of all don't try and make yourself out to be right.

I know that, initially it appears as though the user is unaware of other VIP features, better to cover the basic bases before trying to cover a more advanced query.

Advanced query? Hardly. I think it's unnecessary for vip's to have such privileges as a signature that is clearly un-needed. It's unfair for unpaying members to have to post atleast 4000 posts, just to get a larger signature. If you don't see that then you're being too loyal to your job.

Thats your decision to disable signatures, and if signature spaces weren't a place to show off your work or other images, we wouldn't be allowed to have images in them. Did you fail to remember that, or are you just too bone-idle to put it all together? Alot of members like to view what other peoples signatures contain, you don't. I just view it as unfair, infact alot of things have become that way since people like you were given dominion over the forum.

The mind boggles again - Now you are being told that signatures are not really for showing your artwork. Original avatars and signatures are a source of great pride to lots of the members and make the forum a more attractive place. The definition of signature seems to have been re-defined now by somebody who lives on a round planet. Same it isn't the same one most of the members live on.:S:eusa_wall

But if you owned habbox, wouldnt you want to make money?
Most sites, companies etc are there to make money - even charaties.

Tbh, I dont think signature size should be a VIP thing. As VIP is just about paying for the server. The images are NOT hosted on the server and will cause the server no more cpu load/bandwidth useage whatsoever.

So why not increase the regular user size or have everyone at an equal size? :\

Sorry but I have used many, many forums and most do not even allow images in the signature area because that is simply not what it was intended for ;).

Avatar area, yes that is for showing an image of something you have made or got made for you :). Same goes for profile image.

I don't really care for your sarcasim :$.

Now now ladies.

To seattle: Personally, I fail to see why you feel that paying members do not deserve improved features. Habbox has absolutely mind-boggling server costs, and there are various other expenses on top of that. To keep it running we need to sell VIP, thus we need to make VIP attractive. That is why VIPs get an advantage. And no, 15 pixels is not much of an advantage, originally it was a one-picture advantage, so VIPs could have two images of 150 pixels height each or something equal and non VIPs could have one. And then the rule was changed to say a total of 300 or a total of 150 for all images, depending on your status as VIP or non-VIP.

I bet there are many, many Forums where they don't use their main boards for trading virtual furniture, but we can, right? What makes you think this Forum need follow any others?

Having a signature image is something the vast majority of Habbox's primary users enjoy having, at the current size. I, personally, feel that 150x700 is a great non-VIP size, but I also enjoy my 300x700 size because I pay real money every month to use that additional service.

Why do you think you should get more space, when you can, just by buying VIP?

I think you mean 'Sarcasm' but there you go. Habbox has always had a history of quite talented innovative members who use the avatars and signature to display their personalitys and they are real people behind the keyboards and in fact are paying customers of this forum to a great extent.
In the commercial world companies attract people by giving them what they want and I don't think that saying that most forums do not allow images cuts it quite frankly. This is what has made Habbox unique and popular in the past.
With the present attitude, however I am not sure whether it wil stay that way for long.

Yes you are right NVR :)
