This (click here (http://www.bupa-hospitals.co.uk/hartswood/hospital_hartswood.asp)) is the hospital i'm going to. It's really nice.
This (click here (http://www.bupa-hospitals.co.uk/asp/searches/consultant/ConsultantProfileDisplay.asp?0|=&cons_id=3615&og_id=2655)) is the guy performing the operation. He's really nice.
So why am I worried ^_^ ?
Its just a general fear if anything goes wrong..
I have roughly 2 operations a year for something i do not wish to discuss..
theyre fairey simple but you still get worried :l.
As soon as I step into the hospital im like "oh yeh, it ent bad" :]

It's a general fear, very natural. I think everyone would be slightly nervous prior to having an operation.

well if its a brain operation then youre going to be scared.
but then if its, say, a hand operation, then i don't know why you're scared.
whoooosh

Im sure it will be fine
everyone gets scared over things like that
but good luck
=]
I was petrified when I went in to hospital for an op. It was seriously fine, you do build up a fear in your head, mainly down to not knowing what it's like and the image we see on tv and in the media. :) Its natural.
Good Luck

Best of luck mate, operations are horrible but they do help in the end!
(If it didn't help it'd be a damn contridictive statment :D)
My tips for you would be to..
1. Eat - Helps people get through the day
2. Watch television
3. Bring a laptop in (You'll get a tinternet connection and everything)
4. Be as descriptive as possible - BUPA will do everrrrrything as you ask!
5. Get them to wheel you round in a wheelchair (Brilliant fun!)
6. Tell your mates - They'll come and visit and also probably get kicked out of the hospital :D
Daft as this sounds, but enjoy it. For a couple of days you are practically free from exams/coursework and schoolwork (UNLESS they have teachers there, which when I went to my local hosp - they did :()
