    Its just a general fear if anything goes wrong..

    I have roughly 2 operations a year for something i do not wish to discuss..
    theyre fairey simple but you still get worried .
    As soon as I step into the hospital im like "oh yeh, it ent bad" :]

    It's a general fear, very natural. I think everyone would be slightly nervous prior to having an operation.

    well if its a brain operation then youre going to be scared.
    but then if its, say, a hand operation, then i don't know why you're scared.

    I was petrified when I went in to hospital for an op. It was seriously fine, you do build up a fear in your head, mainly down to not knowing what it's like and the image we see on tv and in the media. Its natural.
