At my school, for Literature and English Class we had to write a Ode to something. In my case I choose my love of Coffee and Starbucks to write about.
I dont particuarlly like it but, I think I'll get a good grade on it for class. (The puncutation isnt good in this and I could use some advice on that.) xD, This is living proof of my obsession. Read and Review, please.

Ode to Starbucks

O’ Coffee O’ Coffee
Where shall I find thee?

O’ Coffee O’ Coffee
I smell ye
I see thee

Starbucks O’ Starbucks
Its my home
Its always’ everywhere
Even in Rome

It’s the place to be
Since it means so much to me
Starbucks O’ Starbucks

Starbucks O’ Starbucks
Coffee so delicious
The coffee means so much to me

The coffee here the coffee there
Starbucks seems to be just everywhere.

You can always find a cup of the finest espresso
Everywhere you see
Starbucks you know, is the place to be

Smells so delicious of the roasted coffee beans
It seems as if I’m having a dream.

Coffee beans
O’ Coffee Beans
They smell like the air
Italian mountains
Colombian fields
Mexican farms
Imported Indonesian
Brazilian Places
Coffee grows everywhere
You see coffee like Starbucks
Is everywhere

Coffee so special
The colors so unique
The golden browns
The Dark brown
The light brown you see

Coffee beans come in so many different ways
Starbucks like coffee offers many ways
Ways of having the coffee how you like it
Ways of having the coffee sweet
Ways of having the coffee bitter

Starbucks O’ Starbucks
Variety indeed
Coffee Beans
Coca Beans
Tea leaves.
All special
All unique
Starbucks O’ Starbucks

If you like coffee you’ll love this place
Coffee O’ Coffee
You see Coffee O’ Coffee
You can always find that special blend
Time and Time again
Starbucks O’ Starbucks

Starbucks O’ Starbucks
Coffee indeed
The best place to find that special bean
That special brew
The thing that just happens to define you

You may not see how much coffee is worth
But in the end its value is priceless.
All the coffees are good.

Starbucks O’ Starbucks
O’ Coffee O’ Coffee

Coffee means so much
Its not just the occasional such and such.
Coffee and Starbucks mean so much
And truly its not the occasional such and such
And once again I say its worth more than you can see.
O’ Coffee O’ Coffee

Coffee O’ Coffee
So many kinds
You’ll never have the time to try them all

A lifetime it would take to try them all
Each time you try to enjoy them all
You realize that there’s not enough time to
Enjoy them
Taste them
Try them
And grow to love them

O’ Coffee O’ Coffee
All special blends
I see all the kinds I want to try
All the kinds
To see and smell
Coffee also makes people well

The many varieties
Different kinds
You can constantly try them time after time
You may think it gets boring and tired
But coffee shall always brighten up the day

O’ Coffee O’ Coffee
The smell
As you roast in the early morning
Wakes us all
The sweet aroma
The special smell
O’ Coffee O’ Coffee

The flavor you bring is something special
Something unique
Unique indeed describes coffee
That special taste
That special scent
O’ Coffee O’ Coffee

Starbucks O’ Starbucks
That unique place
Individuality you see
Starbucks is indeed,
Is a piece of me, indeed it is.

O’ Starbucks O’ Starbucks
When in need of Coffee indeed
I go there
When in need of a good brew
I go there
When in need of a good scone
I go there
When indeed of something sweet or bitter
I go there
On that cold day, winter snow storm, cloudy day, and rainy day,
I go there
For those crunchy coffee beans to munch on
I go there
For that cup of tea in times of need or when the coffee maker is broken at home
I go there
To enjoy the favorite coffee with friends
I go there
O’ Starbucks O’ Starbucks

Different coffees
Different tastes

The Java’s
I love so dear
That coffee’s great
Even better with friends
Again and again

The latte
Smooth and mellow
The relaxing cup
Always good to calm down with

The espresso
Bitter and caffeinated
For those on the go
It wakes people up
With all that caffeine
But it’s always good
Each and every time

To all the other coffee’s
Each time I try you
There different each time
I many not remember your name
But you make me feel the same
O’ Coffee O’ Coffee

O’ Coffee O’ Coffee
I have not enough time
To describe all the kinds
Tell about how they make me feel
Tell about how important they are
But in the end coffee is my life
Morning and night
Always never lets me down
Coffee I’ll always rely on
O’ Coffee O’ Coffee

O’ Starbucks O’ Starbucks
So many varieties to describe
So many different types
So many different kinds
But in the end this place is my home
And I wouldn’t have it any other way

At the end of this poem
I feel I can finally say
For the last time
To complete this ode
O’ Coffee O’ Coffee
O’ Starbucks O’ Starbucks

Mistakes Are Highlighted In Red And Bold As You Asked Dreamer. When I Put Something In Parentheses, It Means I Deleted It.

Overall It's Very Good :)

And Very Long :p

Things To Improve On:

-You Repeat The Same Phrase On Lines One After Another Making It Kind Of Repetitive.
-You Rhyme Sometimes And Not Other Times Which Makes It Kind Of (I Can't Find The Right Word) But It Takes Away From The Quality
-You Don't Follow A Common Format Which Means That The Number Of Lines Differ, Syllables Differ, What It Ends With Differ, Etc. Etc. And It Takes Away From The Quality As Well. For Example: You End Some Verses And Begin Them With Starbucks O' Starbucks or Coffee O' Coffee But Its Not Consistent And Doesn't Follow A Pattern.

I Could Pick On Loads Of Little Details But I Won't Because That'll Make You Think It Stinks Which It Doesn't, It's Actually Quite Good.

So To End On A Good Note-It's A Great Poem, Great Work Mate.

According to our literature book, odes have no particular format and repition is common. I attempted to stick with that. But ty for the correction's m8 :D

Good poem. :) Long... But good.
And to the person who quoted the whole poem: Just delete the unimportant bits ;), it makes the post list really long and makes my scroll further ;)

hmmm my only criticism is that u should try and make each line have the same syllables in length, although in some places it doesn't rhyme, etc thats a good thing because odes are generally more free verses than anything. overall, great stuff java! very impressed :D rep+
