ANYWAY i'll tell you. justine was going up an escalator and fell due to her weight giving her balance issues. anyway she cut all her legs and was sent to hospital. i'd feel some sort of sympathy for her but i don't. it's because of her terrible diet, lack of exercise and constant online employment that has led her to become so overweight.

Yep I remember that , they had beta open for a few months but you had to pay like a tenna , they ended up not opening.

Seeing as clubtropica seems more orginised and more of a real company than a group of teens making something in their spare time this will probably open.

ClubTropica is upgrading from 2.5 to a new 3D graphic version!

Our graphics department have been working hard over the months on 2 formats for ClubTropica and after long consultation with the ClubTropica team it was decided that the new 3D version is something that we believe is going to improve your experience of this wonderful virtual Island we have created for you, because of these changes, BETA ClubTropica will not be open until early December. When someone said it would be ‘relatively simple’ to turn the client from 2.5D to 3D the first lesson we learned here was that when someone says ‘relatively simple’ it is always best to ask exactly what they mean by that, because it didn’t really seem to fit my idea of ‘relatively simple’… But when we looked at the initial 3D images we knew it was the right way to go.

So, hang on to your plane tickets as the new product we are offering you will be even more exciting than anticipated with new features including the ability to zoom and rotate, 3D graphics engine and the ability to see the Island in a whole new way!

Hello once again potential holiday makers!
About a month ago we asked you all to come up with Ideas for things you would like to see in Club Tropica and now, its time to announce the winners of that little competition, who will be taking home the 8GB Apple iPod Touch? Read on to find out!
We had so many entries and picking a winner was no easy task, but after several hours of reading, some moments of hysterics and finger pointing, we are pleased to announce that the winner of the 8GB Apple iPod Touch is Blake Rivers! Blake suggested we should have a "Fun-A-Pal-ooza" Basically a day of non-stop game action for the Grand Opening. Races, games, fashion shows, you name it we will have it! Activities all day and when a person wins an event they get a point at the end of the day the person with the most points gets a ‘super leet prize’ (His words not ours!).
Congratulations Blake, the five runners up, who each get a Club Tropica T-Shirt are; mikeflyhalf, Epona, Tommy, Matthew & pirate-mikey.
What about the rest? Well, some of you came up with excellent ideas BUT, we’d thought of them first. So, we thought we would include a few to give you a sneak preview of things to come!
“What I suggest is that you call your Voluntary Moderators "Island Reps". Because they are almost exactly like the real things! This would be great because it will be making Club Tropica as realistic as possible! Imagine stepping off the plane and being greeted by special Island Reps welcoming you to the lovely Tropica Island.”

Oh and Aaron, you came up with so many things that we had thought of… It was just scary!
Finally, a special mention to connclark who suggested we have a competition where users can win an iPod Touch (see above section on hysterics – we LOVE you!).
Club Tropica should be launching very soon, few minor delays involving air conditioning and fridges, but we are working hard to make up the lost time and we are hopeful for a January launch!

The opening date has just came out of there backside by the looks. It also looks like this hasn't been planned as well as it could of been with of the professional staff who work there that I am aware of. I myself, will not even register or go onto the website of ClubTropica because they lied about the release date. The release date is not there faults but they could of updated us and alerted us.

Hello, potential holiday makers!

You have no idea how nice it is to be writing this email and not one of the other emails I have had to write over the last few months. Finally, after months of up’s and down’s, problems and disasters I have good news! The air conditioning and the fridge are fixed, the planes are on the run-way and James is packing his suitcase as I write this! Yes, that’s right, we said we were hoping for a January launch and we can now confirm that the site will be opening VERY soon! How soon? How does Friday sound?

The Club Tropica Home Pages will open on Friday 18th January at 5pm GMT!

All the site features including registration (full Tropica customer accounts) will be open at that time. If you pre-registered an account you should receive an email later this week explaining how to gain access to that name. BETA access to Club Tropica will be in batches BUT, the first people to access the site will be the winners of the name for Kitty competition!

Who are they?

Well, picking a winner was not quite as easy as I thought but, after much consideration, deliberation and cogitation I am pleased to announce that Tim and Mickmaster are the winners. I will have two titles; Island Director (for more formal occasions) and Head Coconut (because it just makes me giggle). Congratulations and thanks to you both, you should receive emails from us this week with more details.

So, get packing, tell your friends, do what you normally do and expect plenty of emails from us this week, it’s nearly time!
