Basically I need a program that I can hover over a colour on a image and it'll give me the Hex/RGB code for it , just like it does on fireworks/Photoshop.
Can someone find me a link to a free one as I need to pay for all the ones I found on google :(.

Sorry to ask in same thread, but does anyone know where you can get one on the web which can be used in scripts etc. in order to define the colour.

» Thankyou Snex

Basically just a one which are used in editors for instance when you click on the colours in certain editors where it brings up a full colour chooser for fonts and backgrounds or whatever.

Im finding this hard to explain tbh.

Snex, i think i know what you mean.. would it not just be easier to insert the colour code?

It's for a new profile system Im doing for my forum so it's easier for people who don't understand hex codes.

try looking at that. is that the sort of stuff you mean where, say you had a box of colours on the left, they select one and it enters the code?

Thanks , exactly what I wanted! +rep

correct

no buit it gives you the RGB..
It only gives you the RGB if you have selected the colour yourself, I wanted a program that gave me the HEX to colours on an image

I think he wants the script for the program so he can embed it to his site :s

if paint gives you a hex make a php script that converts into to hex

Yeah, re-read it again :P I'd try googling 'colour picker web script', or check out dynamicdrive...
