Like properclone's thread, but with an album instead of a song.

I recommend you get this:

There is not one bad song on the whole album.

Nah, it's not really.
To quote properclone:

Ever been bored of your music? Need some new stuff?
Post music that you'd reccomend to people, and try to include the genre and what it's like too so they know what it is before going to buy it! Also there is no point posting popular songs that everyone knows ;)
Same idea as that, only with albums.

this album is so amazing that even the two weaker tracks ('world town' and 'mango pickle down river') are good. there are too many standout tracks to choose from, each song in its own way is a gem. maya is truly an innovative artist that manages to produce songs that will be in your head for the next month yet she is extremely thought provoking at the same time. through her pounding electronic beats m.i.a. lets her heart out on this album. 'paper planes' gave me chills the first time i heard it and it still does. you'll probably think 'what the **** am i listening to?!' upon first listen but give it a chance, it grows on you like some flesh eating virus. if you like electronic music, hip-hop or grime then you must hear this album, i think it may just be my favourite all year. check out maya's first album, 'arular' too.

Say Anything - ...Is A Real Boy.
It's probably one of my favourite albums ever.

arctic monkeys - favourite worst nightmare.

has really, really, really grown on me recentely. it hasn't got the press it deserved, got a massive hype and then it all died down. but, it's still an amazing album. favourite tracks; "d is for dangerous", "brianstorm", "old yellow bricks" and "balaclava." there are a couple of weaker tracks, but they're not bad. they're just not as good in comparison with the rest [:

hard-fi - once apon a time in the west / stars of cctv.

they're my favourite band, so obviously, i'm going to recommend them but they truly are good albums. OAATINTW is much more "poppier" than stars, but, they're both very good. stars is more indie, stand out tracks are mainly the singles "tied up too tight", "hard to beat", "cash machine", "living for the weekend". but unreleased tracks such as "move on now" are amazing. OAATINTW appeals to wider audience i guess, "suburban knights" big indie-pop summery anthem with more poppy ballads such as "watch me fall apart" but it's all really good. stars of cctv, imo, is better, but i'd recommend both :)
