He's an 8 year old greyhound called Pilot, I've had him since April and he's been a star - except from emptying the bins a few times and chasing the odd squirrell...
Greyhounds make great pets so if you're considering getting a dog then I cannot recommend them enough!
Pilot is an ex-racer, he has 47 races and finished his last one lame. He recovered but was dumped as he could no longer compete with the younger dogs. The good thing about getting a greyhound is that you get their whole life history if they've been bred from other racing dogs. He traces back to 1820 to a dog also called Pilot, his father was called El Grand Sinor. What a name!
Anyway, here are a few pictures:

He stands at an impressive 30" as the shoulder but greyhound come in all shapes and sizes and tend to sleep for most of the day!
Adopt a greyhound, they're great! :D
