I recently seen a blog advertised about them by someone on another forum. So I checked it out and since then I've loved them.

Here's some of their videos;

They aren't new but they aren't old either, very interesting band and when live extremely funny :)

They are a amazing band.

Being from around the liverpool area, I have known about them for ages and seen them live quite a bit, most recently at the Liverpool 08 capital of culture launch, was a wicked night.

They're album is great.

Amazing band, one of my favourite. :] My brother got their Japan only album (Girls, Boys and Marsupials) in 2006 which has many of the songs that are on their first proper album. It's kinda weird, the new album has slightly altered versions of the same songs on the first album, and in my opinion they sound slightly better on the first. Doesn't really matter though, still sound great on both, and the new one has the new songs that sound amazing. :]

What's everyone's favourite tune of theirs? Mine is a choice between Lost in the Post and Kill the Director.

I have also noticed this, they sound younger!

My favourite songs are "Let's Dance To Joy Division" and "Kill The Director" as that one got my attention. But overall I quite like this album, it's very catchy. They have done well for themselves :)

i loved watching the liverpool capitol of culture launch on the tv
for those who dont know, they were told to mime, so they made it blatently obvious by chucking around their instruments and jumping into each other.
i believe murph was also dressed as a bear, but i cant remember

I hate em too mate. They aren't that good tbh. Just overrated/overplayed/overhyped disgusting pop 'indie.'

i like em.

they've gone quite far in under a year. Last june when i was doign work experience, Kill the Director kept coming on the radio, bit overplayed yes. But most people would take more than a year to get a good, varied, popular album out.

i love dr susanne mattox phd :)))
i've no idea how many times i listened to the album since i got it. a stupid amount :)
i love the front of album too. its like my random shelf ;]

preach on, bro.
but srsly
all these bands sound the same and only like 3 of them are good.
listen to dustin's bar mitzvah
and then youll see how average bands like the wombats are

i saw 'em supporting the enemy back in october. i used to really like them, but they've gotten a bit too big and just seem to be everywhere. i also hate it when bands get big then re-release their singles (hello cash-in..). nevertheless, i'll still go see them at reading.. :]

Like I said above, I think the songs that are on both albums sound better on the first so it's well worth getting if you can.

I used to like them, but they've just become overplayed and annoying now. Saw them live supporting the Enemy, and I really can't remember their set, was quite forgettable.

But, YoManGo! is a genius, so I'll take a look at that band.
