    Default The Wombats ftw!

    I recently seen a blog advertised about them by someone on another forum. So I checked it out and since then I've loved them.

    Here's some of their videos;

    They aren't new but they aren't old either, very interesting band and when live extremely funny

    They are a amazing band.

    Being from around the liverpool area, I have known about them for ages and seen them live quite a bit, most recently at the Liverpool 08 capital of culture launch, was a wicked night.

    They're album is great.

    Amazing band, one of my favourite. :] My brother got their Japan only album (Girls, Boys and Marsupials) in 2006 which has many of the songs that are on their first proper album. It's kinda weird, the new album has slightly altered versions of the same songs on the first album, and in my opinion they sound slightly better on the first. Doesn't really matter though, still sound great on both, and the new one has the new songs that sound amazing. :]

    What's everyone's favourite tune of theirs? Mine is a choice between Lost in the Post and Kill the Director.

    I have also noticed this, they sound younger!
