yeh it was snowing here too!! not like that though, only for bout an hour or so then the sun came out. :(

Because in the North of the top most country of Britain (which is quite far north as it is) you expect it to snow a lot. It'd be impressive in Cornwall, but not somewhere on the same Latitude (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latitude_55_degrees_N) as Alaska and the great Majority of Canada.

False, due to the north atlantic drift, and the ocean currents we receive warmer weather and receive about a 10th of new york etc which is the same latitude, if we didn't have those currents then we would be in snow all year round :)

:o I remember those days. In Toronto, it's heated up. Today was like 13 degrees celcius, I wore flats and a vest, felt so nice. There's no snow on the ground. It's supposed to warm up so I'm bringing out spring clothing :)
