yeh it was snowing here too!! not like that though, only for bout an hour or so then the sun came out.

Because in the North of the top most country of Britain (which is quite far north as it is) you expect it to snow a lot. It'd be impressive in Cornwall, but not somewhere on the same Latitude as Alaska and the great Majority of Canada.
