you can rename it by going into itunes, double clicking on the ipod name in the pane on the left, and typing in whatever you want :P

Im not sure about this much, But cant you download music normally from a P2P application then convert it into a usable file for the Ipod?

But, connect it to iTunes
right click your "Ipod" in iTunes, rename it.
disconnect.

That should work.

Ok mate cheers, but im tryna put my own songs onto the ipod aswell, but when i load up the iPod, it comes up with all the songs etc which it has on it, but when i try and upload a song onto THIS iPod's library, it doesnt wna go on, so i cant sync it :S
It just goes into the main iPod library, with my old old songs from my previous ipod

When it's plugged in, click restore on iTunes lets you rename it aswell.
