    Default iPod Nano Help - +rep

    Ok, ive got this iPod nano second hand off a mate, and i want to change it all around, i want to change the ipod name, from his, to mine, how can i do that?
    Also ive got loads of his songs on it atm, and i want to keep some of them, and add my own, but i cant seem to do it on iTunes?
    Could anyone help pls, +rep

    you can rename it by going into itunes, double clicking on the ipod name in the pane on the left, and typing in whatever you want

    Im not sure about this much, But cant you download music normally from a P2P application then convert it into a usable file for the Ipod?

    But, connect it to iTunes
    right click your "Ipod" in iTunes, rename it.
    disconnect.

    That should work.

    Ok mate cheers, but im tryna put my own songs onto the ipod aswell, but when i load up the iPod, it comes up with all the songs etc which it has on it, but when i try and upload a song onto THIS iPod's library, it doesnt wna go on, so i cant sync it :S
    It just goes into the main iPod library, with my old old songs from my previous ipod

    When it's plugged in, click restore on iTunes lets you rename it aswell.
