I've got no idea why this is filtered? It's a perfectly normal word used to describe a cigarette. http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=4703626&postcount=35

F...A...G

It's a bit over the top don't you think? They use it on childrens TV so why on earth is it filtered on here?

You can just say cigarette.

It's thrown around a bit, like "shut up you .."

so it's okay.

There are hundreds of words that don't need filtering. Dick is one of them. *** comes from burning homosexuals at a stake I believe? So there isn't really a bad background anymore, that's dried up and buried in this day and age.

How come it isn't filtered when you say it? It hasn't been unfiltered as it's still censored in my post.

I don't see why, gomme especially, argues about every little thing wrong with the forum, like unfiltered words.

Why do people need to say the words you've stated, "my friend ****..." why not just call them Richard, *** - why not cigarette. Simple.

I disagree, I have been called that word loads of times. It doesn't bother me but some people could find it offensive so I'm guessing that's why it's filtered.

It's becuase it was quite a common insult, but times have changed and along come new words.

And as Gomme used a caital it overid the filter.

Why are people called Nick, Alex, John? Short hand my dear ;) It's like you calling me gomme, when you should call me GommeInc. Also, the D word isn't offensive, much like ***** isn't or piss, they're only rude when used a rude in context. *** isn't offensive neither, in this century at least. Most homosexuals find the word amusing and if you use it offensively you get aload of abuse thrown back anyway. Most people can just say you're a gay ***** if they really want to be more offensive, than the 3 letter F word :)

As far as I am aware, MAD doesn't believe the D word is rude either, considering I avoided the filter (because it's that harmless) and he didn't raise an eyebrow over it, and said it wasn't when infact it was...

Its obvious, you know why its filtered. Its not over the top, lots of words have double meanings, like the town of F---ing in Austria, of course we all know what the person really means if they say it.

I agree wholeheartedly. The three letter F word as Gomme put it can be used in a homophobic context.

The D word can be used in an insulting manner, and there's nothing other than use interchangeably with...phallus. Richard can just be Rich. You'll survive.

nvrspk4... The 3 letter f word isn't offensive in the homophobic context, burning homosexuals on a stake died out years ago, it's laughable now unless you have a few thick homosexuals who believe they still do such things in England, America and Europe. Which is what this forum focuses on as a member base.

And the last thing was stupid coming from you nvr, the 4 letter D word is less offensive than *****, and is less rude than piss. If we can say penis, we can say dick, if we can say urine, we can say piss which is the same thing. Honestly, the rational thinking between members and management is terrible lately

Lots of people use f-- now, I don't know in the UK, but in North America it is considered an insult, so yeah.

No, that's the literal definition. However, used in a slang context, its still used as a derogatory term towards homosexuals.

I've said time and time again that I don't know what the hell ***** means in terms of severity, because we don't use the word.

No, you can't say the D word if you can say penis, as you're not going to call someone a penishead are you? Piss is simply not used much for insults (closest you can come is Piss off which isn't that bad.) If you said that you were pissed off in school you wouldn't get in trouble, but if you called someone the d word in front of a teacher I know at least in my school you'd get in a fair amount of trouble for it.

***** - Tiny penis or the pointy part of a needle, it's also the sensation of the needle going in the arm.

Calling someone a d-head is alot less offensive :) If you said piss or **** in England you'll get in trouble, but this isn't school, it's a teen forum... So both should be appropriate...
