I've got no idea why this is filtered? It's a perfectly normal word used to describe a cigarette. http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost....6&postcount=35

It's a bit over the top don't you think? They use it on childrens TV so why on earth is it filtered on here?

    You can just say cigarette.

It's thrown around a bit, like "shut up you .."

    so it's okay.

There are hundreds of words that don't need filtering. Dick is one of them. Fag comes from burning homosexuals at a stake I believe? So there isn't really a bad background anymore, that's dried up and buried in this day and age.

How come it isn't filtered when you say it? It hasn't been unfiltered as it's still censored in my post.

I don't see why, gomme especially, argues about every little thing wrong with the forum, like unfiltered words.

Why do people need to say the words you've stated, "my friend ****..." why not just call them Richard, *** - why not cigarette. Simple.

I disagree, I have been called that word loads of times. It doesn't bother me but some people could find it offensive so I'm guessing that's why it's filtered.

It's becuase it was quite a common insult, but times have changed and along come new words.

And as Gomme used a caital it overid the filter.

Why are people called Nick, Alex, John? Short hand my dear It's like you calling me gomme, when you should call me GommeInc. Also, the D word isn't offensive, much like ***** isn't or piss, they're only rude when used a rude in context. *** isn't offensive neither, in this century at least. Most homosexuals find the word amusing and if you use it offensively you get aload of abuse thrown back anyway. Most people can just say you're a gay ***** if they really want to be more offensive, than the 3 letter F word

As far as I am aware, MAD doesn't believe the D word is rude either, considering I avoided the filter (because it's that harmless) and he didn't raise an eyebrow over it, and said it wasn't when infact it was...

Its obvious, you know why its filtered. Its not over the top, lots of words have double meanings, like the town of F---ing in Austria, of course we all know what the person really means if they say it.

I agree wholeheartedly. The three letter F word as Gomme put it can be used in a homophobic context.

The D word can be used in an insulting manner, and there's nothing other than use interchangeably with...phallus. Richard can just be Rich. You'll survive.
It costs nothing to be a good friend.
