Having the word plainly and clearly visible with no masking whatsoever for those who don't know the word in the title, viewable on the main forum, is NOT the way to go about it. A much easier way is simply the "D" word or an alternative name for such and such. Believe it or not, there are people who don't know the words used. A female 11 year old staffer once asked me what the D word meant ;)

I absolutely refuse to acknowledge that the word should be unfiltered so that you can use it as a nickname. Rich is just as many letters as the alternative nickname. That's simply an argument to get it unfiltered, to use it for different things.

Yes, but you may not get taught the word as that, you are probably taught the proper form (penis). And as for why you can use penis and not d, you would get laughed off the forum if you called someone a penishead. You would sound like a three year old.

I find that quite ironc considering **** is an old fashioned term for richard and was used when **** wasn't used as an insult. Now however it is as we all know a term used to mean a males genitals, and is also now offensive. It seems to me that you just want to get away with being rude... Why, if it matters so much don't you just say it to yourself, if you understand what the **** means then why does it matter if a 12 year old doesn't... which I think is the point for a filter...?
