The "D" word should be unfiltered, its a name. How would you feel if i filtered your name?

    Its stupid this filter.

Edited By nvrspk4 (Assistant General Manager): There are ways to go about discussing words avoided by the filter. Having the word plainly and clearly visible with no masking whatsoever for those who don't know the word in the title, viewable on the main forum, is NOT the way to go about it. A much easier way is simply the "D" word or an alternative name for such and such. Believe it or not, there are people who don't know the words used. A female 11 year old staffer once asked me what the D word meant

Adding to this, it isn't offensive anyway and you can avoid the filter btw, when you're posting constructively or raising a valid point

If it was unfiltered I think more people would use it as an insult. Then again that's the same for ***** really. Mhm..

Jake, if I called you a Richard, would you be offended? It's not offensive, and if people were offended by it then they need to grow up and get with the times...

Yeh, but at the same time, You can get away with the Name by calling them Richard instead, so there isn't a real need for it to become unfiltered.
