Computer generated child abuse to be banned

Drawing and computer generated pictures of children (Hentai) which show kids being sexually abused is to be banned under a new law coming in. Obviously child pornography is already illegal for various reason's and rightly so as it really lets down society and cripples the victims etc. However 'Cartoon' images don't harm anyone, surely if more of this was made then they'd be less need for pictures of the real thing and then it wouldn't happen as much.

I don't mean to come across sick or perverted here or anything so don't get me wrong, however if these people had lots more cartoon images then they wouldn't need to find pictures of it actually happening.

I think you'd have to be wrong and perverted to get aroused by abuse and children in the first place, cartoon or not, however the government can never stop people being aroused.

It's surely doing the opposite if they're banning harmless cartoon versions of it? Like I said, it'll just encourage more of the real thing. Just wondered your thoughts cause I think this is a bad move and more children will suffer :(

I completely agree. If these sickos have an alternative then they won't look for the real thing. I think that it is perhaps better that they are seeking their sick fetish in cartoon images rather than the real thing... so I think more kids will suffer.

But no MP is going to speak out against it because of how it'll look.

I think that's perfectly acceptable. As long as the law focuses only on commercial use then it's okay. People producing these images should still be allowed to do it privately.

I wouldn't exactly call it wrong of them to be turned on by children - people can't help their sexual preferences, as any homosexual would forthrightly say, though I don't deem it right. Ok, I'm not so sure where I stand on this. If it was allowed, it would stop people looking for the real thing, and its good that they don't. If they do ban it, then thats good also but then they will look for the real thing. I really don't know where I stand on this..

Ah I found a movie of this on my friends computer of some 12 year old girl giving everything to her parents, I was disgusted. I didn't actually know what to say to him and nor did my friends so we just left him and I haven't spoke to him for a while now. Its pretty sick people actually fatasise about these things, they always put themselfs first instead of the person they'll/thinking of doing it to. I would understand if you was 15, and you was fantasising over a 13-14 year old as that pretty much from far your age, but in some cases of sanario would include a 43 year old man, molesting a 8 year old boy/girl, that sort of stuff should be given the death penalty to those who act it out.

Well thats just odd.Perhaps your just odd one. The hentai industry huge, there's also no barriers with Hentai so it's a lot more 'dreamy' and exaggerated. You'd be amazed how popular it is and you most probably haven't even looked at it so how would you know.
