In the production of SAW V, one of the traps, can actually kill the person doing it. :)

Since the release of the first SAW, 5 sequels were immediately signed, and Tobin Bell is contracted to each of them.
SAW II was relatively decent, III was... okay, IV was pretty dire. From the second sequel onwards there is just gore for the sake of it, and every script is based around a twist at the end of every damn film. I can only assume that V and VI will follow the same format and be lackluster, especially since Darren has left the director's chair, and a production designer has taken his place, just look what happened with Joe Alves and JAWS 3.

I can see why some people find it boring but personally i enjoy not being able to watch things because there so sick. To me that makes a good film :]

i guess we'll have to wait and see, they're probably keeping it in reserve just in case they can't think of anything better

hope its good :)
Its gotton pathetic, Jigsaw is dead, Amanda is dead, Eric Matthews is dead.
They just doing the typical hollywood money grab, SAW 1, 2, 3 would do it for me now its just ridiculous.

Well like I said, as soon as SAW was immediately successful upon its release in 2004, 5 sequels were signed at once, with Tobin Bell attached to them all.

Hopefully saw V will be as good as the first three, saw IV was a bit of a dissapointment :)

Don't get your hopes up too high - the director of the first three sequels Darren Bousman isn't continuing for this film, and the role has been given to the production designer...

Just came out today :) Wasn't really bothered with getting excited for the 5th movie but that poster is definitely awesome ;D The more I look at it the more I want to see the film xP
Oh great, we got a man having Jigsaw face attached to his head. "CLEVER"
NOT!
=\
I dont think that is actually going to happen in the film. I think it is more symbolic.

Yes, it's a physical metaphor for what looks like the "bad cop" from the ending of SAW IV, becoming the new Tobin Bell character.

I think the poster would look more sick with the pigs head on someone full of maggots (eww) :D
I can watch any SAW without being physically sick. i hate horror tbh :P ps. about to watch sweeney todd right now :P

that's not really why
it's because these games were actually running at the same time as the ones from saw 3, that's why the film has the same ending, he doesn't actually die until all the games in IV are played.
