I shall take no credit for this work, as I found it in a thread and I decided to post here as its usefull.

1. Go to start and Click Run...

2. In the run box type... "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en"

3. You should now see a file named Proof.XML

4. Right click the file and select open with notepad.

5. After opening the file with notepad scroll down to the the bottom.

6. You should see lines like this...

7. </Feature> <Feature Id="SetupXmlFiles" Cost="1248">
<OptionRef Id="AlwaysInstalled"/>
</Feature>

8. Just change the line AlwaysInstalled with neverInstalled retaining the quotes...

9. Save the file and u are ready to go...

10. Now just open Word and it should not ask you for any activation...

11. Make sure you do not do any kind of update...
Enjoy using Microsoft Office 2007 :)

I hate that method, easily patched for one thing.

I just use a keygen for the key then get the WGA patch files.

I have the enterprise copy which does not require an activation.

How is a 15 year old meant to afford Photoshop or MS Office?

Think about it realisticly, who is going to spend £80 on something you can get for free.

Enterprise edition + keygen + OGA (office genuine advantage) patch files (not WGA as that's windows genuine advantage to whoever said that above.)

I spent £100 on Office and Norton 360 (No complaining :P) a few weeks back.

Cant get Pro Plus in blue, Enterprise includes crap I don't need, and it looks better if it says "Office 2007 Professional Plus" as aposed to "Office 2007 Enterprise" to parents etc etc LOL
