160GB HDD is 30-40 quid
Nvidia 8400 is about 30-40 if its the 8200 which is integrated then it'll be nxt to nothing.

What? It has 2 AGP slots, do you not know what they are? :SYes but AGP is useless and not used anymore. The estimates yourself and Scotteh have given are incredibly optimistic.

You can get second hand DVD Drives for like a fiver these days etc.

RAM may be expensive when you buy it, but when its second hand its worthless because it may be corrupt etc etc

About £150-180 not including the speakers i think. It would be a lot more attractive if there was more HDD space. Depends how good of a salesperson you are/how gullible the buyer is to how much you get really :P.

Eh?

AGP slots, where you put in your graphic cards? Swear in PC system studies agp is the slots where those graphic cards goes.

I think I'll start the bids at £210 with a 15" lcd monitor.

They don't make AGP Graphics cards anymore if I'm correct. 15" monitor is worth about £20 so I'd be surprised if your auction got off the ground. I'd personally start at £150 as a maximum.

Hmm, I'll see if I get any £200 bids on ebay, if not I'll lower to 150.

Doesn't hurt to try does it?

I'll be buying a new motherboard then if they now use pci.

Its funny all the different people pretending they know something

You can still buy motherboards with AGP slots and they can still run the latest Duel processor.

PCI-E is its slot replacement... and is found on the most recent high quality motherboards.

Plenty of decent graphics cards have come out on AGP and still do, you normally just have to spend extra compared what you would pay for the same quality in PCI-E

Nvidia stopped doing AGP versions a while back. They never even did an AGP version of any of the 8 series cards as far as i'm aware, so i'm not too sure on the accuracy of the specs posted by the thread starter. ATi have probably stopped AGP cards now, but i'm pretty sure they did a few 3xxx cards in AGP.

The best AGP card you can buy is the ATI HD3850. Full Stop.
