Sure the CD Drive is plugged in the motherboard (Or IDE cable) correctly?

Not at all? even not under the unknown devices?

If thats the case then its not plugged in correctly, remove all cables and replug em to make sure they're in properly.

If everything's plugged in correctly and it doesn't appear in the BIOS then the drive's knackered.

Maybe try a different molex power connector to it just incase though?

Try a different power connector or IDE/SATA cable.

Has it ever worked?
