Yeh but you need a Network Hard drive with a ethernet port (NAS) or get a caddy and put HDD in, or get a network USB hub and plug it in.

Belkin aren't a particularly good brand ;).

If you wanted to, you could share the hard drive on your network through your computer. Your computer would have to be turned on any time someone wanted to access the hard drive since it's connected to your computer though :).

Personally I think it's totally worth it getting a NAS HDD, it provides awesome access and easy backup throughout the network and potential for things such as FTP access.

We have a Buffalo one which cost about £110 last year, it's only 250GB and I guess you could easily get 1TB for that price these days but I still think it's worth it.

Belkin has never let me down, and quiet frankly i've never seen a review on a product i've purchased saying it's really bad, most are fine, everytime i've got a belkin product it's been fine. :)

That's exactly what you need, not sure if it's for-sale yet but it's one to keep an eye on.

Most Belkin products come with a lifetime warranty, I've had my wireless router 6 years and replaced it a couple of years ago. Basically free routers for life :P

Keeping in mind, network storage is a fair bit slower than direct connection, especially if the computer connected to it is connected via wifi.

Nick.: I LOVE YOUR SIG.

Nick.: I LOVE YOUR SIG.If you have a decent router and you're using a wired connection, I believe Ethernet is far quicker than USB 2.0, however any speed 'gained' will be lost as the HDD is USB 2.0 with a converter. NAS ftw!

Hi Ross,

Thank you for your inquiry. We most certainly can ship to the UK.
Unfortunately, the adapters sold out within 12 hours and we will not receive
a new shiment until December 30th. They are being back ordered and will
ship in the order which they are received. You can place your order
directly online if you wish. We also have a UK distribrutor and they
ordered a small quantity if you would like to check with them. You can find
their information here: www.addonics.com/sales/listing.asp

Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.

Regards,
Shelley Gordon
