To have a external harddrive connected to the router or to the sever so anyone on that sever could add and remove songs?

Yeh but you need a Network Hard drive with a ethernet port (NAS) or get a caddy and put HDD in, or get a network USB hub and plug it in.

i'm sure you can get a cheaper one - i always go with belkin as they're a great brand - but another one may be slower and not really trusted brand
