Received an interesting email earlier, thought i'd post it here to see peoples views about it.
Dear *****
After recently receiving an email from what was believed to be COMPANY NAME, I have been in contact with the company and they have confirmed that they did not send the email to us at Bright Wight Images.
At this moment in time I believe that you sent this email maliciously, using a spam generator – This act has been committed by yourselves before and therefore puts a stronger belief that this was carried out by yourselves. COMPANY NAME has made it clear to me that your actions are not welcomed, and I can confirm that the act in which you have committed is illegal, and could be taken to the local authorities as Fraud if needs be. This act also explains the reasoning as to why you knew that the ‘new client’ was COMPANY NAME, however as stated by yourselves you claimed it to be a ‘webmail hacking’. This act follows on from a recent attack by yourselves using an illegal shell, to gain access to the Bright Wight Images hosting account and delete its contents.
Due to the illegal hacking, fraud, defamation of character, defamation of business and possible loss of earnings, Bright Wight Images will be looking into taking legal action against yourselves. This is not a decision which has been taken lightly, however a string of illegal acts against Bright Wight Images requires us to do so.
The continued acts both to myself and to Bright Wight Images is not welcome and will not be tolerated.
Regards,
Darren Toogood
Bright Wight Images
Thought it made quite an amusing read. Just to confirm, Fraud is when something unlawful is done to gain a financial advantage. Now correct me if im wrong but Bright Wight Images is not a business, and to prove any loss of earnings a set of accounts must be available to compare to see the loss from a previous year.
Instead I believe a true example of 'fraud' is emailing a company someone works for and 'defaming' (an abusive attack on a person's character or good name) them to try and win their position in said company. I have chat logs of Darren Toogood admitting he would do this for every company I apply for a job for or even currently work for.
The illegal hacking part of that email I don't have a clue what Darren Toogood is on about.
Just wanted to see everyone's view on this amusing email.

Its simple, if there was only a spam generated email sent to the companys inbox then they can do nothing except flag it as spam. Unless you maliciously attacked the site/company then they dont have any grounds to contact the police?

Ahh i forgot to put about the 'malicous email' bit. He had a wave of emails about 2 months ago and tried to blame myself for sending them (trying to damage my reputation again!!) When in fact I am sure that it was people in his class at school that did it to get a reaction, not entirely sure though. I would pressume that if the message headers are the same though that they are from the same person that sent them then.
I am mainly interested in the fact that he has tried to defame me a hell of a lot and at the same time is trying to say I have ruined the reputation of his 'business'.
1. His business has never earnt money. - how can you lose earnings when you had none anyway.
2. His business has never had any reputation - reputation is gained from experience with business and there has been no business.
3. He openly admited he would attempt to ruin my career by defaming myself when I work for various people by contacting them and "lie to them so that they would choose BWI over yourself"

It all sounds very childlike and unimportant to me, and the headers wouldnt necessarily always be the same.

He is 14 or 15, i cant see him getting anywhere with it and thought i'd amuse you all with his efforts!
And surely if the emails were sent from the same program then they would be the same? (persons ISP in the header?)

Darren Toogood is no one to be worried about. He's hardly started puberty so I doubt he will even try to take legal action against you.
Feel free to reply with 'lol'

I find your ways of dealing with this very unprofessional. A private email is sent privatly, and is not to be displayed on a public forum.
There have been a string of attacks on the business, and myself personally and this is not tolerated. You and/or the other recievers of the email have commited Fraud by pretending to be someone else - it is fraud.
Your are causing, yet again more problems for myself by posting this email, and telling untrue statements to the public - This is why you are seen as unprofessional, immature and jealous. For an 18 year old, you do not display the maturity in which I would expect. At no point did I say I would ruin your career, or contact people with false information, however I did state that if there was an open position going for a photographic position, Bright Wight Images would apply for it to offer the better service - What you are saying is very different to the true story.
If you have a problem, take it up via email, however do not post it on a public forum, purposly to try and cause problems. I come on Habbox to give advice to new photographers and to update fellow photographers on my developments - You only signed up to this forum to cause me problems, and it is not welcome within this community.

I blocked out your phone number etc and was purely asking for an opinion on my position...which seems pretty good atm.

The only diffrence is that darren tries to act more mature.
It does seem like this was posted to wind darren up aswell.

You have no need to ask the opinion of others - It was stated in the email the proceedings, which has nothing to do with the members of Habboxforum.
I am running a sucessful business, which is shadowed by your immature and unprofessional attacks on the business - There is no need for it, nor do I see your reasoning behind it.

A successful business is one which generates an income... The email did not mention about asking the opinion of others.

Our income and outcome is nothing to do with outside bodies, and therefore you do not know the income/outcome of Bright Wight Images.
I would like to draw you to the notice at the bottom of every email sent from any Bright Wight Images email account;
The content of the email and any attachments are confidential and could contain personal, legal or privileged information. If you are not the direct addressee, or 'carbon copy' addressee, it may be unlawful for you to read/copy/distribute or disclose information contained within this, and any emails sent between Bright Wight Images and the addressees

You brag how '2009 is the developing year for BWI' ... '2010 is the year we start taking over'
You admitted BWI made no money in 2008 as it was a learning curve year.
My email account also blocks footers as it wasnt on there!
...Have requested this thread be locked to a few mods, didnt want it turning into an argument just wanted to ask for views of other members - (an outsiders view)

Unless I'm mistaken and I don't know much about this but a business in the UK is usually a company registered at the company house. I highly doubt a non-adult can create a genuine business as you wouldn't be paying the likes of tax etc, therefore I doubt you can do anything about a loss of earning within the law. Of course if I happen to be mistaken and it's registered to an adult then I apologise.

You are both PATHETIC. Grow the **** up. You are only arguing because you both own photo sites that are based in the isle of man. Seriously they are just sites with a few snaps, I doubt any of you have sold more than 20 photos. So basically JUST GROW UP.
