My brother got an iphone 3g and I'm going to unlock it for him and I downloaded Quickpwn 2.2. Is that going to do the trick?

Your is jailbroken as in only applications can be installed the unlocked will be sim card unlocked so all networks can be used.

Wait a minute isn't the release on new years for the turbo sim one only? I think that this video will work.

You may be able to jailbreak your iPhone 3G, but you wont be able to jailbreak it.

You can only unlock the 1gen ones as of yet, but a release is said to be after new year.

Sorry, i messed up that post

What i meant to say was, you might be able to jailbreak your iPhone 3G (as in install cydia ect) but you wont be able to unlock it till the new year
