Its not all about the signature, yeah I have put a signature that you people seem to hate, but it also includes information other than "goodie two shoes" subjects.

Anyway, its not about the signatures and I doubt the signature will have any effect on anybodys application positive or negative.

One would assume that forum signatures would have absolutely no affects on applying (unless they're offensive or something...I don't mind yours, though:D).

Yeah well my signature isn't there to help my application, I'd rather they put on the applications that Forum Signatures will not affect your application.

Someone spotted my signature today and asked if I could set-up his nameservers and Litespeed Forum and I did it for him.

I highly doubt that signatures will affect anyone's application, although if it was breaking the rules. (E.g. Being offensive, then that's a different matter. ) So, please don't start 'hitting' at people for it. :)

You only get put on there for bad things such as hackings leaking details etc. If you've never been staff you won't be put on there you just won't be hired. It doesn't mean much because Olleh used to be on there and now he's News Manager. Remove if that's secret information, I'm guessing it's OK because he's staff now :8

I should hope not, because if someone wishes to become a mod, and they don't know how to conduct themselves in a thread like this, then all they are doing is proving they aren't suitable for the position ;) A good moderator doesn't get into arguements :P

You only get put on the Do Not Hire List for quite serious things, but if you get removed, you usually have an extremely good reason for being removed ;).

Not a secret at all, just not spoken of much. Anyway, this thread isn't about the DNHL, it's about Forum Moderator Applications. I've applied myself (the cheek - managers having to apply! :P), good luck to everyone else!

Does being a rebel make you cool? Would it kill you to be supportive to people who are serious about becoming a moderator? If someone wants to become one then that's up to them and by making those signatures, it shows that they are friendly and happy to help others so I don't understand what's so amusing about it. :S

Applyling to become a Moderator and then arguing in the Moderator applications feedback thread isn't going to help you become one. So just relax. :)

Putting things in your signature to help people or encourage people to report posts is a great help but it probably doesn't make too much of a difference to the outcome of your application. Maybe if you kept it in your sig untill then next applictions come around, it would improve your chances. ;)

Btw what I posted in the other thread is slightly inaccurate, the numbers have risen slightly! The number of active users is around 680 give or take about 50 (yesterday there were 738 throughout the day!). That's assuming all the active users are the same people obv. Interesting, sundays seem to be the most popular day. Lack of things to do or excitement about updates? :P

It may take a few days to get a response depending on the amount of applications they have to get through and the more they have the longer it will take.

Patience is a virtue though and if you dont get a response tomorrow then don't instantly think you haven't got it, and don't pester them with more PMs as thats just annoying and wont get things done any quicker :P

I think they do it whilst they read it, like for instance they could all be in one msn conversation/ they contact each other telling them to do checks or... in the PM you can see if they have any infractions ect cause they appear next to the persons name if you're a moderator I do believe.
