Woah, the story sounds so familiar to when my dad had a brain haemorrhage... He went to the bathroom and just stayed there. Why didn't they phone 999 immediately? Out of hours GPs will of course be useless, they would of got him into hospital too. They could of saved themselves the trouble and just got an ambulance. If he was in pain and had horrible headaches, then it's severe. How the ambulance guys got it wrong is beyond me though, they must use a different type of ambulance service to the one near me, even though by the looks of things, they're the same.

F- Face, has their face fallen on one side?
A- Arms, can they raise both arms and keep them there?
S- Speech, is their speech slurred?
T- Time, if you notice any of these symptoms then its time to call 999.
Good advert that.
But they should of just phoned for an ambulance.

Yeah, it's stupid :P Especially when the Essex NHS usually go crazy about head things, because of Romfords Queen Hospital (deals with brain stuff).

Yes, they should of phoned for a Ambulance. They could of got help within minutes
