Woah, the story sounds so familiar to when my dad had a brain haemorrhage... He went to the bathroom and just stayed there. Why didn't they phone 999 immediately? Out of hours GPs will of course be useless, they would of got him into hospital too. They could of saved themselves the trouble and just got an ambulance. If he was in pain and had horrible headaches, then it's severe. How the ambulance guys got it wrong is beyond me though, they must use a different type of ambulance service to the one near me, even though by the looks of things, they're the same.

But they should of just phoned for an ambulance.Especially when the Essex NHS usually go crazy about head things, because of Romfords Queen Hospital (deals with brain stuff).
