I just bought these new sub and speakers, and I'm using a Acer Aspire One netbook, with Vista.
I plug the sub and speakers in, but because it's only a 2 channel sound card (I think) I can only listen to 2 speakers at a time, (and the sub :D) but the other 3 are not on, untill I change the input on the side of my laptop, to the other 2 speakers, or just the 1.
My question is: Does anybody know how I can get ALL 5 speakers and the sub connected up to my laptop? :D
Thanks. :D
EDIT: It sounds amazing with just 2 speakers and the sub, I HIGHLY recommend these speakers! Great buy! :D

I had this problem too, you need to update your sound card driver.
Either get a soundcard for the laptop (best way), or use the console adapter that came with the speakers (you'll need a male 3.5mm jack to male phono cable like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/stereo-jack-Phono-Connectors-metre/dp/B000NHDIEU/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1240078645&sr=8-8) (second best way) or buy two of these http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3518947/HeadPhone-Jack-Splitter-Stereo-Adapter-3-5mm-2-x-3-5mm/Product.html46

Thanks N!ck! Loads of help! +REP. :D
EDIT: That last one didn't come up, but was it a headphone splitter? So you can listen to an MP3 player or keyboard (what we use them for in school) with 2 sets of headphones? :D

I got a splitter from my mate, EXACTLY the same as the 'phono' connectors in your original post, but instead of it being red and black, it's red and white, sounds amazing! :D
Much help, many thanks! :D
