    Default Logitech X-530

I just bought these new sub and speakers, and I'm using a Acer Aspire One netbook, with Vista.

I plug the sub and speakers in, but because it's only a 2 channel sound card (I think) I can only listen to 2 speakers at a time, (and the sub ) but the other 3 are not on, untill I change the input on the side of my laptop, to the other 2 speakers, or just the 1.

My question is: Does anybody know how I can get ALL 5 speakers and the sub connected up to my laptop?

    Thanks.

EDIT: It sounds amazing with just 2 speakers and the sub, I HIGHLY recommend these speakers! Great buy!

Just press the matrix button on the control panel. I beleive that is on your speakers. Let me know if i'm wrong.

I had this problem too, you need to update your sound card driver.

Either get a soundcard for the laptop (best way), or use the console adapter that came with the speakers (you'll need a male 3.5mm jack to male phono cable like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/stereo-jack-...0078645&sr=8-8) (second best way) or buy two of these http://www.play.com/Electronics/Elec...Product.html46

Thanks N!ck! Loads of help! +REP.

EDIT: That last one didn't come up, but was it a headphone splitter? So you can listen to an MP3 player or keyboard (what we use them for in school) with 2 sets of headphones?

I got a splitter from my mate, EXACTLY the same as the 'phono' connectors in your original post, but instead of it being red and black, it's red and white, sounds amazing!
    Much help, many thanks!
