When i put it on i have no sound -cry-

The drivers dont need installing, The volume isnt on mute and its plugged in correctly,

Your sound drivers are not working, or your headphones aren't plugged in properly.

This happened to me!! I forgot how I fixed it(which is quite typical, but it was like 4 years ago, and it was with my old computer)

Just check that every plug is plugged in (push every plug in a bit more, just incase)
Check out everything is ok in Sound in Control Panel
Make sure that nothing is on mute or anything...

and if none of the above work then i suggest either Youtubing it or taking it back to get it fixed.

Hope this helps and good luck with fixing it.
:D

My friends computer used to do this, he had to download some AC97 driver, and after that the sound would work.

http://download.cnet.com/Realtek-AC-97-Driver-Windows-98-Me-2000-XP-2003/3000-2120_4-10238712.html

Try that!
