I think the £6 you have to pay to get your old touch updated is a bit of a rip off. There dont seem to be much new to it either.

I didnt pay £60 insurance for nothing, ill leave it a while and accidently smash it :D

It's not hard to get it for free? You just download the latest firmware?

Right. Than you hold shift+press restore and restore it to that firmware and your all set.

You do realise even a new iPod Touch 2G will come with 2.0-2.21 software not 3.0?

Only the iPod Touch 3G will come with 3.0 as default.

Use the ^ option. (Dl it)
