Graphics Card - Memory
Stock: 1100 MHz
Cooling
CPU: Stock
Graphics Card (GPU): Stock
Memory: OCZ XTC Memory Cooling
Case: Stock
So my planned upgrades are as follows:
CPU Cooling: OCZ Vendetta II (http://bit.ly/uoc4e) with MX-2 Thermal Compound (http://bit.ly/BQHGT)
Case: Cooler Master Storm Scout (http://bit.ly/aNn70)
Case Modifications: a few 120mm fans for the case (Side panel), red/blue neon lights and probably more (any suggestions?)
PSU: Corsair 650W TX (http://bit.ly/15vk8Z)
Hopefully that will then satisfy the power and looks my PC. Next would then be some extra hardware such as extra HDD's, TV Card and etc.
So discuss what you think and tell me if anything would be changed. I am sticking to the case as I think it looks like a very nice case and will suite my needs perfectly.
Cheers :)
Get an SSD in there for the OS and program files.

Cost too much at the moment. I'm fine with HDD's at the moment.

Huge performance increase though. Start at around £70. All you need is a small, fairly basic one.

I'm not all that into SSD at the moment. I just don't think they are worth the money at the moment.

Throw out the 650w TX PSU, get a Modular Corsair one from the HX range. For the case get a Lian-Li aluminium one, far far better than Cooler Master if you can afford it IMO.

I will think about the PSU but I am keeping the case.

You should consider a Lian-Li, they are the best of the case world.

Well then he is silly, my Lian-Li is huge and has no silly LEDs!

I really want a big case, my current eBuyer case can't fit in my Vendetta II and my 22cm side fan, arghh!

To be honest, I am not silly. Cases all come down to personal preference, I prefer a case which has a gaming style with all the "silly" LED's. I do not like all these boring looking cases like that Lian-Li you linked TomSpit to.
I like cases which are exciting to look at. Sorry if I seem very bland.
Wait, I thought it was common knowledge that blue LEDs make it go faster?!

I think the Scout has better pricing.

Yeah.
You should get the Cathode kit as well if you like LED's Chris. Would probably look quite cool if done properly.

True, but that case has red LEDs which will cook it.

So the Cathodes are a scam?
And what do yellow LEDs do?

No Jewish Bear, They are nice but expensive. I'd rather a Cooler Master HAF or whatever, as they have awesome cooling, I am told. Or a Cooler Master scout sniper.

Welcome to real life. You get what you pay for. I paid a premium for my case and I got premium quality. The case is ******* _huge_ and I wont need another case unless ATX goes out the window.

Right so the case is fixed so can we move on to another subject please.

I think people are kinda overstateing the case's importants. There essentally just a big box your putting your computer inside with a few led's and buttons stuck on the front.
Sure you can spend as much as you like on getting better cable managment, easier hardware access/swapping or just getting one that looks cool.
Honestly though, if you have space and airflow the rest really doesnt matter all to much, so a nice looking/sizable cheap box to me seems better value than an experncive one with a ton of features i'm unlikely to ever really use anyway "/
A case is a case afterall, you could just ducktape the componets to your wall if your desperate (been done)

Well I am choosing this case on the looks, features and great airflow since I will be using air cooling. Cable management is important which is why it has holes to put the cables round the back of the case.
