right, so now it's the summer holidays and i need to loose some weight as i am 13 and i am obviously over weight? :P

what should i do every day?
most days, i end up snacking on biscuits and i never go out for some exercise because the 360&computer is very addictive.

so yeah, please help.

Don't worry too much about exercise. Just make sure you do little things like walk rather than take a car or whatever. Unless you want to loose tons then exercise isn't what you should be focused on.

Drink LOADS of water. It makes you feel full, and it stops your body retaining water weight. If you need to snack, do it on fruit only. It takes a while to change but you'll notice a difference. Just think of food as being bad and making you so fat you'll never be able to move again. ;)

if you're snacking because theres nothing else to do then you're eating out of boredom, taking in unneccessary calories when you may not even be hungry and you won't be excersising it off.

even walking helps yhoo looses weightt so get all ur mates together and walk round town or summin even if yhoo have no money yhoo can look at the clothes and have a laugh wiv ur mates just trying on some reallyy ramdom clothes and taking stupid picturess -- so ur still having fun buhh also ur looseing a little bit of weight :D

its probably the most obvious thing, but cut down on the number of hours that u use the 360 and computer. I.e, instead of 5 hours, make it 2.5 hours.

honest to god, that's what i did and i lost half a stone in like 3 weeks.

Well first of all you need to get out and start exercising, that seems to be your main problem. I know how it feels to be addicted to the computer and 360 but I make time for it. Stop snacking on biscuits and eat 3 set meals a day.

Breakfast; Bowl of cereal and a fresh glass of orange juice.
Lunch; A sandwich and maybe some low calorie crisps.
Dinner; Fish, Pasta, Meat, Rice. Any one of those and just mix them.
Snacks; I recommend "Cracker breads". These are low in calories and are really filling.

Try and walk to places instead of going in a car or bus ect.
If you want a snack eat fruit not junk food and have 3 healthy meals aday.

Just try and cut down what you eat like people said, go for the low fat/sugar versions of food in supermarkets and I'd suggest eating soup, especially if you make it yourself, that way you're eating more vegetables and it tastes pretty good.

Try and do some more exercise, it'll be a bit of a chore to get into, but once you start doing it regularly it doesn't feel like a task.

Drinking lots of water will help too and you can just skip meals to be fair, most of the time I'll only eat one meal a day just cos I'm full from all the water I'm drinking.

If your wondering how many calories you should be eating, a good estimate would be;

Your body weight in pounds x11/12.

Should be eating around 40-60g of fats per day mainly mono-unsaturated (nuts) and poly-unsaturated (oils, olives). Stay away from high saturated stuff (junk food)

Your diet should consist mainly of proteins (lean meat, fish) and COMPLEX carbohydrates (potatoes, pasta, wholemeal bread) not SIMPLE sugars (sweets, chocolate, **** basically).

Follow that up with an hour or two of vigorous exercise and your body fat will drop faster than Enzo :P
