I get really angry when I play an online game or in real life when I something doesnt go to plan. Im not the type of person to be like this so why do I do it. After I've let out a few nasty swear words I then think why did I do that, it makes me out to be such an idiot. What can I do to stop this.

You could always go to anger therapy classes. I personally think the best cure is to rage at the wrong group of people and have them beat the **** out of you. That'd surely sort you out, right?

Yeah but it'll be painful.

Just try and calm down, do yoga or something. ;)

I think perhaps you get frustrated in yourself. Its a kinda fear of failure in a way. This where, perhaps, you need to 'win' and for this you planned your strategy. Just don't beat yourself up too much about anything- just do the best you can if things don't go the way you expect.

I despise that guy with a passion. He has the most annoying voice ever.

just remember it's not worth it. like you have to get self-control over yourself and think "hold on a minute, this isn't worth getting stressed over" have a drink and ;) and you'll be nice and calm again.

I have atychiphobia, its basically a fear of failure, I get worked up over tiny things I can't do, that may be your problem - Go to the doctors you may get therapy depending on how bad it is. You can always use this link HERE (http://www.goal-setting-guide.com/overcoming-fear-of-failure.html), it may help.

If it's a game than the best thing to do is cut down on playing it. If for example you were to keep loosing at a certain point and continued to do it getting more frustrated you are going to wind yourself up inside. This means its time to turn it off and leave it for a while, that way you are more likely to succeed also.

Ye, I used to be like this, now I know things arent always going to go my way so I just think 'meh' and get on with it.

Yeah i get really angrey in sport and I think it's because it means so much to me so maybe winning online games or Xbox Live things means alot to you? i think it's just human nature to be dissapointed when something that means something to you doesn;t happen how you would want it.

I get very angry when I'm on Habbo and somebody is blocking the door. I used to punch the screen but now I just curse and if it's a giveaway I sometimes throw my laptop and scream.

Don't worry, you can't block the door anymore.

No offence or anything but you should just get out more. Just go out everyday for a week with your friends and see how much better you feel. Your self confidence will rise, your personality will become much more fun and you will just feel more relaxed on a whole.

Get a punch bag and hit it for 10 or 15 minutes every day as hard as you can :P It'll help you get fit and relieve stress/anger.

Usually I just take my anger out on the game or just stop playing the game for a while to get what happened through my head and come up with a new plan that wont get me worked up after I go back on it.

It's perfectly normal. I experience the same thing when something doesn't go to plan or how i think it should go, you could say.

I experience the same thing when playing games, when i loose i get really angry, sometimes i even bang objects which are in my reach.

You'll grow out of it. No need to seek medical help!

I have exactly the same thing.

But most of the things people have posted wouldnt help me, coz i only rage sometimes, and hitting a punchbag for 15 minuites a day is totally pointless IMO.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I was on Habbo and this dumb big stupid bwaby was at this BIG giveaway, like they had credits and EVERYTHING so I was in the line and this stupid bwaby was BLOCKING the TELE to get to the GIVEAWAY. I started yelling at the screen because I was mad as hell. My mom came in and not only did she catch me on Habbo, she laughed at me which made me more mad . I ended up throwing my mouse at my mom, I got kicked from the room for cursing :'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(:'(
